Carrollton Inn

My stay was great. The place is huge and the rooms are nice and roomy. (We did get an upgrade but I’m sure a regular room would have been great) Parkkng was very convenient. Breakfast was early so that was good for our schedule. Nice to have the restaurant attached. Not open Sunday evenings tho!

The room was clean. The workers were helpful but understaffed. When we arrived, the person at the front desk was maintaining the pool(2 floors down). Breakfast wasn’t cleaned up until late in the afternoon. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator, which made bringing our luggage up and down challenging.

Great place to stay as a more affordable hotel close to Ames. Nice breakfast & amenities. Cute stores downtown. Would stay again!

We were greeted immediately at front desk. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the shower head and pressure of. Enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was excellant. Food was hot and very filling. All options were well stocked. Thank you for your hospitality!

This was much better than last place. I stayed through this app. Couple things concerning me a little bit. Like there was a bobby pin on the floor and I often travel with my partner. Who is also male. But, since I found a bobby pin on the floor, it made me feel like to date it. It thoroughly clean in between us and the previous guests!

We stayed at the Carrollton for a family reunion. We liked the Swizzle Stick Lounge and the 1730 Tap House! Beds were comfy and the breakfast was good. We all thought the coffee was too strong and tried to water it down to drink it but it didn't help. Other than that, everything was great!

We made sure they knew before we got there.It would be four women in excess of eighty years old , and so they booked our rooms on the second floor but neglected to tell us they don't have elevators .no help with bagl

high prices during the state baseball tournament but nice room and stay. breakfast was like any other hotel breakfast. nothing fancy. cool pool area for the kids. would have been nice to be a little cheaper but what do you do.

Nice and clean rooms. Restaurant and bar on site but closed on the early side. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

We checked in got our room and went in. The toilet seat was cracked and pinched me. There was no hand soap The mirrors were dirty The tub drained very slowly so when you shower your standing in water. There were hundreds of ants that had gotten into our stuff. The pool was freezing so couldn’t swim. Housekeepers banging doors at 6am by leaving the lock on so they don’t have to use the key card to go in and out. It was the worst stay I’ve ever had anywhere will definitely not be returning ever

Berry good place!!!

Restaurant attached. Location near 2 major highways. Was attending a large event in the attached ballroom so it was very convenient. NO ELEVATOR!!! Things are on several different levels from the rooms and there are only stairs to move around within the hotel. I was in a wheelchair and had to be taken outside to go down to the restaurant or up to my function in the ballroom

Great pool for kids. Comfortable beds good breakfast.

Happy with our stay.

I don’t recommend staying on the 1st floor. I could hear the family above me at all times they were in their room. There was a wedding at the convention center next door that I could hear until long after midnight. Also, my bathtub was stained, and I had to unplug my refrigerator because it was so loud.
