The stay was fine as the front desk service was good. Toilet handle was bad and TV didn’t work.

This place was awful! Walked in the room and it smelled so bad it almost made me sick! It smelled like Indian food and wet dog! I saw dog food crumbs on floor and had to ask the desk clerk to vacuum. He said they did not allow dogs? There was stuff on carpet and it was apparent that it had not been vacuumed I refused to stay there. But had a wedding to attend so was unable to ask for my money back. I got my bags and walked out. Bad experience!

FOUND A CAMERA IN THE ROOM ATTATCHED TO THE TV. BREAKFAST NOT THE GREATEST, ONLY FEW CHOICES. ROOMS OKAY.
-
Spacious room with three queen beds.
-
The rooms have cameras and the breakfast was little to nothing. The people did not understand English and were not helpful. The room smelled like a mildew smell and they did not once come empty trash or give new towels when needed. We had to bring it to them.
-
It was located convenient to the event we were in Iowa to attend. The Wasted Grain restaurant located within walking decent was also a plus! Good food there! The bed was quite comfortable also! The heavy mustiness of the room was enough to me to wake up with a sore throat and runny eyes. It made it an uncomfortable stay?. The breakfast was pretty sparse and didn’t even utilize it the second morning.
-
Very close to Merchants field
-
Room 111 smelled terrible! There were Damp Rid bags hanging in the room, so I'm guessing it was unmitigated water damage? I won't stay here again.
-
WE went to use the remote control for the TV and it did not work..
-
The breakfast was not good at all, the location is good but way to much money for that hotel!!!
-
Room want cleaned daily.Ur staff couldn’t understand English
-
The staff was wonderful. The queen size beds were more like full size.
-
The only complaint we had is the breakfast was not good at all, otherwise everything was great

I needed a little extra time when it came time to check out and I went to the front desk and asked for an extra hour or so and the woman working was outstanding and said absolutely no problem. One of the only places that ive stayed that was so accommodating! Breakfast didn't have much to offer and I went to eat fairly early so it wasnt picked over .

I made my Reservation through Booking.com. I changed my reservation to add a day. At both times I asked for a 1st floor Pet Friendly room. I even called to change and add a day. And spoke to an actual human being. And told them that I need to add another day to my reservation. And to add a day and the room must be a 1st floor Pet Friendly. After Traveling from Rock Spring, WY. To Carroll. Iowa we we're beat. We just wanted to get in take a shower before meeting family to discuss Family Matters. We pulled in right next to a van, where the person had been smoking a cig and on tbeir cell phone. We got out of our Bronco and had our two dogs on leashes. The person in the van jumps out of her van and begins to tell me "Oh NO!!" "NO DOGS!!! I was so shocked. Nothing on the description of this place said "NO DOGS". I had even put in my search for Pet friendly hotels and this place came up. Now I am Fighty to get my refund back You go on-line and ask for "Pet Friendly Hotels in Carroll, Iowa" and Super 8 is the first one on the list. Now I have wait to see if I get my refund. Until then they get a very bad review from Me. Hear the comment above!!!

When talking to the check-in staff and later another staff, each of them was very helpful. The hotel room bathroom fan was excessively loud and the switch for it also controlled the light. If you wanted light in the bathroom you had to put up with the fan noise. This bothered both of us using the room. The hotel rooms are rather dark and the bespreads, etc. are pretty worn and dated. The room was quiet. If you just want a place to rest, it is fine, but the place is a little shabby.

The queen bed was needing to be replaced many years ago. The middle of the bed sank down so deeply that we needed to lay 2 pillows over the middle just to feel comfortable. Our room # was 118. When we reported it to the desk clerk she said we were the 2nd people to report this same problem. Sound like an issue that is not being corrected.

Enjoyed our stay, the only thing I noticed was the garbage @ back of the building was overflowing.
