There was a frog in the indoor hot tub and a piece of metal in our bed. Black mold was around the tub. BUT... breakfast was as expected and the lobby felt nice. Not all bad

The staff was very helpful and accomodating

Property was a little outdated but room was clean and staff very nice. Breakfast was good. Only complaint would be the air conditioner in our room. It worked fine as far as keeping room cool, but was very loud and noisy. It rattled very loudly making it difficult to sleep.

This appeared to be a relatively new hotel with big rooms. Everything was great, staff was exceptional. Pool and hot tub terrific. The hot tub jets could stand a sign as we could not see how to turn them on. It was nice having a shower in the pool area. It was easy to pass the hotel entrance if heading north from Charlevoix and I’d suggest adding a sign near the road access by the church.

The hotel is being renovated, so I can understand some of the mess, However, there is no excuse for slipshod work in the guest rooms that are “ready” for guests. I’m not trying to be a pompous person but the workers were either lazy and ambivalent about their work, or they were instructed by those who make the financial decisions to be unprofessional in their work.

Sauna was not operational and appeared to be used as a storage room, hot tub chemicals were significantly off balance and burned your eyes and skin, jets in hot tub seemed non operational and in need of repair, bedding was low quality and sub standard for typical hotel quality. Overall not a bad experience if you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep while in Charlevoix, has a nice up north/lodge sort of feel. Also, I did book this with a pet and apparently the Expedia booking software did not inform the hotel that we were coming with a pet, so upon arrival I had to pay additional pet fees directly to the property.... not the end of the world but I was under the impression they were already settled when I paid for the booking in the app since I clearly did indicate pet friendly in my search and booking.

Clean and in good condition. Location is very good. A good value.

Great staff, they really went out of their way to make sure everything was good.

Overall was a fine experience. No trouble getting checked in or out and our room was in order. Only problem was a busted handle on the bathroom when we got there but it wasn’t a big deal.

Decent hotel, not special, but simple. Needs some building maintenance. One of two ice makers worked, vending machine didn't work for cash. Friendly staff. Typical breakfast, but we liked it.

This is a high end clientele area, so you would think for $160 a night the hotel would be at least clean.... No other rooms available so we changed hotels. Expedia or the Hotel would not honor a refund . Each blamed the other. No more Expedia! No more Wyndham!

Have the hot tub and sauna working would have been great. Especially since don’t have a workout room

This AmericInn is a little smaller than others we’ve been to, but it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was enjoyable.

Good breakfast, clean rooms, Hot tub didnt work but we had an in room jacuzzi that was amazing.

The breakfast has food choices for diabetics and for those with food allergies. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was excellent.

Clean room. Limited space for suitcases. Beds comfortable. Standard breakfast but fine.

We were quite pleased with our room. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and there were plenty of towels. The breakfast had a nice variety and was kept well stocked. The only things that were less than optimal is that when the room was cleaned after our second day, the sink and tub were not wiped out, and there was no luggage rack in the room. Otherwise we had 5 good nights here.
