Had trouble with shower and hot water. Probably my fault!

The property is nice but the rooms are dated and old. The rooms are not very well isolated so bring earplugs. The staff is great and super friendly.

We were put in a First Floor room that was below the lobby area; it seems these rooms were created new from existing conference rooms. The rooms were okay but the corridors leading to the room was dusty and smelled of construction material. We were able to get good hot water for shower and the toilets ran fine. Beds were okay. Room was sufficiently spacious to put our luggage. Staff was courteous and friendly and the cookies were great.

Breakfast not good would not pay for it in advance .

Needs updated. Air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms.

I woke up the ac was freezing my room the guy at the desk was helpful and brought extra blankets and turned it down

The room was also very nice and had all the amenities needed for comfort--plenty of options for recharging devices, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Unfortunately, the bathroom was out of date and needed some maintenance. The bathtub had a few black marks that, at first, looked like dirt, but were actually wear marks or stains. The bottom of the door was ragged and beyond repair. In addition to that, the bath gel was nearly empty--better attention about replenishing is needed. The best part of the room, however, was the bed. Incredibly comfortable mattress and crisp, fresh sheets. Best sleep in a long time!

Be aware that if a top floor stay is requested that patiently waiting for hot bath water is a requirement!

Location Bathroom had mold. For $350 a night expect more

Beautifully renovated. The rooms were a little tired. Breakfast buffet should have been included. Wasn’t worth the price

The fitness center was great, although awfully warm for somebody who works out hard. In my opinion, it's ridiculous that I had to pay for parking. Without bringing a vehicle, 99% of your guests wouldn't be there. You're not conveniently located near the airport, and you're not located in walkable community like downtown or a resort area. You're less than two minutes from several major highways meaning the people who come there get there in their cars. And there is nothing special about your parking lot that makes it worth an extra charge. It's not covered, gated, or guarded. Paying for parking is just a petty reason to hit up your guests for a couple extra dollars. Oh, and the secondary deadbolt lock is broken in room 610.

The staff was excellent from the front desk to the shuttle drivers.

The location was convenient. Friendly staff. My room was not cleaned well. The toilet, sink, and shower were in need of a cleaning. There was also dried sugar and coffee on the desk near the coffee machine. If all of that was not cleaned, I am certain my bed sheets were probably not cleaned as well.

Clean, well-maintained, spacious suburban hotel, drivable to UVA and convenient to shopping area in Charlottesville.
