Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Charlottesville

We stayed here for one night with a dog. Hotel was clean and provided a nice small kitchen. The place was a little sketchy outside with some of the guests, but for one night was perfect and we felt safe. We saw lots of dogs and that made our stay even better.

The room itself was great, and value worth it. Giant room with large fridge and kitchen and bathroom. Elevator was out of service, seemed like there was no rush on fixing it. The hallways were dirty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. It was also pretty loud at night and seemed like people didn't care about quiet hours at all.

Front desk person could've been friendlier and more welcoming. The grab-n-go breakfast was laughable. Coffee was the only beverage available. Instant oatmeal and granola bars were the only food options. Would it have killed you to provide water and juice? And, how about some fruit and yogurt? All easy options.

Elevator was broken

The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Ac was working very well. I would definitely stay at this motel again. The prices are very reasonable.

Has many surfaces in hallway taped off and patched up for painting, Strange smell in hallways, Carpet in hallways need vacuuming, Floors in room seems a little grimey. Breakfast was basically coffee I was not able to drink, breakfast bars and packs of instant oatmeal and grits, so I went to get coffee elsewhere. Comfortable and clean otherwise.

For a brand new building, everything was rather dirty. While the staff was nice and helpful our room wasn't ready and we showed up 3 hours after check in time. It didn't have a shower curtain and the floors were visibly dirty with foot prints. It looked like the room/floors hadn't been cleaned after the drywall was installed/painted.

It was perfect for the situation

The elevator was broken down the entire stay, had to walk four flights of stairs multiple times daily, also the service desk gave the keys to the room to a second guest had to rescan the keys

Everything was solid except for the fact that the elevator was out of commission and the front entrance was caution-taped off due to some kind of work being done, so that was a little inconvenient.

If I can make a suggestion: Please mop the floors when guests leave. This hotel accommodates work crews and my floors were very dirty. My socks turned brown my first night from walking around my room. Excellent otherwise! I would recommend this peaceful, safe and clean hotel.

We checked in and tried showering only to have water as cold as ice, door lock didn’t work. Called front desk his response was change rooms. We were already unpacked and he didn't seem to care, he said no one was there to fix anything. Moved rooms to take a shower in room number 2 and the bathroom bath mat was dirty, we used a towel cus the bath mat was that dirty, the shower wall had black curly hair stuck to it. Called front desk three times, no answer. Went to front desk no one there. Can in at night no one at desk.
