Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Charlottesville

The room was clean and spacious and had a great tv and a full-size refrigerator. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location, a short drive to many restaurants, the U of Virginia, and Monticello.

Also, the vending machine did not work either, and even if it did they were charging $5 for a snack size bag of popcorn. I would not stay here again.

Front Desk staff were extremely unhelpful. Elevator was broken, they asked if I still wanted the room ON THE THIRD FLOOR that I had already paid for without offering a refund. Four people sitting around nobody offered to help drag our bags up three flights of steps. Parties going on in the parking lot.

Is a new facility so loved that pulling up but once inside it’s not being taken care of very well The elevator didn’t work, Bryan at the front desk was not very polite and didnt acknowledge us when we first came in. The room had ZERO pans, dishes or anything to cook with. The floor was grimy and had a film all over it. There was a huge spill stain right by the table on the wall and there were sex stains on the walls. Ugh. It was gross

Elevator broken, food/crumbs on table tops and chairs. Coffee Creamer pumps were crusted and clogged where it seems like they were old/not cleaned.

This hotel appears to accommodate mostly homeless people rather than travelers working away from home. Although there was a construction crew there, evidenced by heavy boots stomping up the steps and above us all hours of the night. Elevator down, put on 2nd floor and told we would be moved to the 1st floor the next day. Next day told the only room available was one that a lady with 3 dogs and a 6 month stay had just moved out of. It wouldn’t be ready. TV never worked and no one showed up to fix it as promised. People hanging outside the property smoking and talking loudly made me uncomfortable. We were gone a lot - again not a deal breaker. The steps and hallway were not cleaned until our last day there. We came back and the cleaner caused me to have an asthma attack. I had to use an N95 mask just to pack up our things. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund for the night. I was told because it was through a third party, Hotels.com, I had to contact them. Hotels.com told me it was up to the hotel’s policy.

Cozy and clean! Lots of mechanical issues. Elevator broken, internet was on/off, tv was finicky.

We stayed here for one night with a dog. Hotel was clean and provided a nice small kitchen. The place was a little sketchy outside with some of the guests, but for one night was perfect and we felt safe. We saw lots of dogs and that made our stay even better.

The room itself was great, and value worth it. Giant room with large fridge and kitchen and bathroom. Elevator was out of service, seemed like there was no rush on fixing it. The hallways were dirty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. It was also pretty loud at night and seemed like people didn't care about quiet hours at all.

Front desk person could've been friendlier and more welcoming. The grab-n-go breakfast was laughable. Coffee was the only beverage available. Instant oatmeal and granola bars were the only food options. Would it have killed you to provide water and juice? And, how about some fruit and yogurt? All easy options.

Elevator was not working. We booked two rooms and we were given accommodation far from each other. The breakfast provided to us was pathetic. One of the rooms had electrical issues which took a while to resolve.

When we complained to the person in charge about the non functioning of the elevator and not giving us two adjacent rooms, he gave us a deep discount. That's the only thing we liked. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Ac was working very well. I would definitely stay at this motel again. The prices are very reasonable.

Has many surfaces in hallway taped off and patched up for painting, Strange smell in hallways, Carpet in hallways need vacuuming, Floors in room seems a little grimey. Breakfast was basically coffee I was not able to drink, breakfast bars and packs of instant oatmeal and grits, so I went to get coffee elsewhere. Comfortable and clean otherwise.

Superb

For a brand new building, everything was rather dirty. While the staff was nice and helpful our room wasn't ready and we showed up 3 hours after check in time. It didn't have a shower curtain and the floors were visibly dirty with foot prints. It looked like the room/floors hadn't been cleaned after the drywall was installed/painted.

It was perfect for the situation

The elevator was broken down the entire stay, had to walk four flights of stairs multiple times daily, also the service desk gave the keys to the room to a second guest had to rescan the keys
