Arrived at the property and they said they don't have rooms available. Now they are giving us a run around on our refund.

It was a very nice room with two TVs of nice king size bed nice stand up shower and it's own little coffee area across from that was the bathroom sink in the shower and toilet were in a separate room. Everything was almost brand new for an older Hotel. The only downside was the night we spent there, the elevator was out of order and got fixed the day we left!!!

Laundry facilities were broken. Elevator was out of order.

Overnight stay prior to knee surgery. First thing we were told at check-in is that our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. Room was clean. Mattress sagged at the head and the pillows were so soft, they didn't compensate for this sagging. Very poor night's sleep for this reason. Would think twice before staying again.

Based upon the other embassy suites, I’ve stayed at this one was pretty subpar. Several of the staff were extremely nice, but then they also had several that were not so as far as customer service this is what gets a low ranking and also the tub in our room was cracked and peeling so bad that I didn’t even want to take a tub bath

The location was understaffed. When we arrived the front desk person was away from the desk for a long time. It was not her fault at all! They just need more people. The room smelled weird, and overall the hotel feels like it needs a refresh.

The staff went above and beyond several times to help us. The location was understaffed. When we arrived the front desk person was away from the desk for a long time. It was not her fault at all! They just need more people. The room smelled weird, and overall the hotel feels like it needs a refresh.

It smelled terrible. There was construction, it also smelled like chlorine or bleach we were unable to stay there!! I’m allergic to smoke. We left early and booked another room elsewhere

Love the hotel, particularly the breakfast choices and the proximity to nice restaurants. Very clean and pleasant place. My only issue is that the hold out couch blocks movements in the room if you have more than two people. Also no sign to the hotel once you enter the parking lot area and the location is hidden behind a Food Lion grocery store. Tremendous value for the price and quality. Not fancy but glad we chose it.

We stay here every year when traveling. This is a great hotel, always a great breakfast, pool, and the staff is very friendly.

The stay was e collect as always. However I believe that the hotel needs to have no see-through curtains in the rooms so that there is privacy andtoblock out the outside light at night.

Good location for UVA graduation. However, the king size studio room was unusually small. To our surprise and dismay, when we opened the sofa bed, one couldn’t get from bedroom to the bathroom room anymore - you had to step over the corner of the sofa bed which inevitably woke up our son sleeping there. To make matters worse, bathroom light didn’t work, so we had to take showers in dark - after informing the front desk immediately, it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Apparently, the property engineer couldn’t be found?! Unfortunately, a bad experience for a one-night stay that cost us almost a bundle. Otherwise, staff was friendly and graduation meant a very busy hotel and city. Overall, the joy of graduation and being with family and friends made up for the inconveniences at the hotel.
