Super 8 by Wyndham Charlottesville

Ok for sleeping. I could hear everything in surrounding rooms. Air conditioning sounded like an airplane taking off.

Great hotel for the price. I will definitely go back there.

The carpets were stained very badly. The air from the air conditioner smelled bad. Worst off was that my room had cockroaches in it.

We stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham Charlottesville and had a very disappointing experience. The mattress had a large, deep depression in it that made the bed extremely uncomfortable. My husband had to sleep on one side so I could rest before my nursing shift, and the mattress aggravated his existing lower-back pain. The most frustrating part has been the lack of communication afterward. I contacted the hotel manager multiple times by email regarding a refund, and Booking.com also attempted to contact the property. The manager did not respond to my emails or to Booking.com’s request, leaving the issue unresolved. I understand that problems can happen, but ignoring a guest’s legitimate complaint is unacceptable customer service. I would not recommend this property based on the condition of the mattress and the manager’s failure to communicate or make a reasonable effort to resolve the situation.

It was an excellent for the price, enjoyable stay, I would stay there again!!
