While my room was basically clean, there was a very bad musty smell. Maybe the AC had not been on in a long time? There was damage to the bathroom door and some of the lights did not work. The room did meet the immediate need of a place to sleep near the wedding venue where I was attending a family wedding. I would only recommend the hotel to those who are truly watching the money closely and needed a cheap hotel.

The pictures viewed on the website do not represent the actual room. Workmanship of the contractors was poorly done, most of the furniture was stained, and rug was very stained and dirty. The room had a smell, not sure what? Overall I will never stay there again. One note, you have to bring your garbage to the dumpster or be charged. This hotel does not have a restaurant either, like the website indicates. Disappointed 😞

Extra clean room, professional and accommodating staff, great location. Stayed here for a work trip and had zero issues or complaints.

We stay here every year when we come to Minnesota. Its convenient to everything we do when we are there. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The kithen was not fully equiped. There were no cookware. The microwave did not work. I did let the front desk know that night and the next morning. We had bought microwavable food and couldnt cook it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out! The hotel was nice and spacious and had a great view of the river. The room was clean but in need of updating and some repairs to the shower and bathroom. Overall it was a good stay.

We waited about 15 minutes at the front desk to check in. Our room was honestly a huge disappointment. The pictures online made them seem great… the walls and doors had holes, the shower head was broken so we had to really get creative to shower since the water couldn’t hit us and the shower head would just dangle, the air conditioner sounded like a semi when it would turn on. the WiFi & tvs didnt work. We wanted a couple extra pillows so we went to call the front desk and the phone was there for decoration, the cord was raveled up with a hair tie. No plug in or anything. Also, the dresser drawer was broken and we couldn’t get it shut. We went to check out and no one was there, I used the phone as the sign said and no one answered. Just left. I can tell they are working on making it better place but, it needs a lot more work.

Love this hotel! Great location.

AC was not working. Strange people walking around at all hours. We got our stuff and left at midnight because we felt unsafe

Nothing. Literally nothing. From the moment we walked in, everything went downhill. We were immediately greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke and an empty front desk. The instructions told us to pick up the phone in the lobby, so we did—only for the front desk phone to ring with no one there to answer it. We waited for over 10 minutes before someone finally came to help us. While we were waiting, we were unfortunately entertained by watching an older man appear to purchase the services of an escort right in the lobby. Yes, we watched this happen while waiting for a front desk attendant. After checking in, things only got worse. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, the bedding had cigarette burns, and the bathroom lights didn't work. On top of that, the walls were so thin we could hear everything happening in the hallway, the rooms next to us, and the room above us. To make matters even more uncomfortable, one of the hotel employees made comments to one of the women staying with us as we walked down the hallway, saying, "Hey, hey, good looking." The overall atmosphere felt much more like a homeless shelter than a hotel or extended-stay property. Between the lack of staff, the condition of the building, and what we witnessed in the lobby, we never felt comfortable during our stay. One night was one too many. When we checked out the next morning, there was once again no one at the front desk. While waiting, we spoke with two other guests who shared similar experiences. One told us their bathtub had a hole in it that had simply been covered with duct tape. Another guest said, "Good luck—there's never any staff here." Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. We would not recommend staying here.

Kitchen without any cookware, dishes or utensils. Unstable and extremely slow WiFi. Huge holes in parking lot.

Cons: because it's actually low income apts, not a hotel, it's title needs to be changed. 1: our bathtub was unusable, it had to huge holes in bottom, taped with a clear tape. Commented twice on it, both said they have to keep retaping. It was unsafe to use. 2: table, chairs, doors, hand railings, stairs, walls and doors had holes, dirt and years if bodily grime on them. Kitchen had no kitchenware, our door on 3rd floor wouldn't open or close, without using full body weight to slam shut. 3: parking lot had zero working lights and was massive pot holes. Scary walking in after dark. People outside door smoking cigarettes and pot. Room windows were so dirty, you couldn't see out them. I plan to post pics of everything. Do not stay here as a hotel. Pool and breakfast area all shut down and door glass spray painted over. Our room and a smell of cigarettes and deep fried grease. Only thing clean, is the daily mopping of the hallways. Oh, and the bedroom air shook the wall it ran so ruff and loud, couldn't use.

Very friendly.

Plus we were there for 4 days and nobody came in and cleaned our room. One or two things can be worked on but the staff members were very helpful.

Great kitchen, no coffee maker. Clean and friendly

Such a nice downtown area for a small town. Very lovely hotel.

The room I was in had a broken shower head--I did report it to the front desk immediately after check-in It was never looked at for the three days I stayed. The property was in a nice quiet location and had some outdoor grills for the client to use.

had to leave before breakfast was service

At a lower price point, I knew exactly what to expect! Staff were great, and the air conditioning worked. Bed was comfortable, and the TV functioned! There could definitely be updates, there was a stain on the ceiling, the carpet bubbled up, and the shower drained very slowly. Nothing that would prevent me from staying again!
