Econo Lodge Cheraw Market Street

My stay at the Enco Lodge in Cheraw NC was an 8 out of 10. The staff was friendly & the rooms were clean. The atmosphere around the Enco Lodge is the absolute worst. Had 3 different run ins with people walking up on me and trying to intimidate me while I was walking across the street to the gas station.

The room walls and doors were very dirty. The customer service was good.

One star because yes it is a clean hotel. I would not suggest staying more than 1 night and I wouldnt consider it kid friendly. Both neighbors were up partying, screaming, and yelling at each other until 3am. Yes it was a Saturday night, so have fun, but when there are people screaming outside your door and hitting the door everytime they walk by.... you would think the staff (4 feet away) would take care of it. At one point of the night, there were groups of people sitting in their cars with doors open, blasting music and later, grown men yelling and fighting in the parking lot. All the noise continued until 5/6am. Also, they make it very clear you will be charged $100 fine if you smoke in the room.... went to the bathroom, cigarette smoke was rolling out the vent from a nearby room, we had to keep the bathroom door closed throughtout the stay. Like I said, clean, but there isn't any standards on how customers should behave after 12am.

Clean and nice Everything was great,I would recommend the stay to family and friends

The beds and pillows are sub par. The rooms are poorly insulated and are difficult to keep a steady temp. Rooms can drop to below freezing if you forget to turn the heat on.

Never go small Tv rude manager bad area so loud Manger very rude the tv small need better cleaning it’s in the hood

Initially passed on this location based on the name...but the facilities were really nice

Bottom floor. Allowed our dogs for a nominal fee. Was quiet until someone sat outside talking loudly until late then in the very early morning, but we managed. Was comfortable, reasonably priced, and we really enjoyed browsing some of the history here. We have relatives in central and Eastern SC so this is a great place to stop after a drive out of the WV Mountains. Thank you for your hospitality. Actually nothing.
