Quality Inn Cheraw

Great staff! (We stayed because they took great care of us, and addressed our concerns ) The pool area was good but needs more chairs/umbrellas. Breakfast was the usual but the area was clean and restocked throughout the breakfast time. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot & had good pressure. No laundry, or elevator so ask for a first floor room. No trailer parking on site

The woman at the desk was the rudest person I have come across in years.

The room was filthy. My child had an accident and I asked for them to change the bedding that morning. They came in and remade the bed with same bedding. They did not change anything at all. My husband and I had to go to Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies to stay in the room.

Staff was fairly nice. CONS: Basically everything else. Pool was disgusting/not cleaned in weeks. Room we initially got had flying bugs of some sort all over as in we killed a 100 and there were that or more left. It smelled of mold. The bottom of the desk and refrigerator cover/microwave holder were swollen like they got flooded at some point. The roof had drywall tape like it had been messed up recently. Needless to say it was unacceptable to stay in. They switched us to another room. Better than the first one but not great by any means. Had seafood left over from dinner put it in the fridge. Went to get a drink out of the fridge the next day and of course the fridge wasn’t working so ruined our left overs. Went to ask for a new fridge and was told they would send the repair man when he came back well I’m sure the room don’t have a fixed fridge cause he never came that day or the next to fix it. Somebody had a bottle of whiskey one night and left it on the front of the building on the side near the stairs. We were there for 2 nights and it was still sitting there when we checked out so I don’t know how much they pick up/clean as it was right where people have to walk. There is a black car with no tag that looks like it should be at a junkyard in the front of the building as you come in. To say the positive reviews this place has is beyond us how they got any thing above a 1 star not sure how this is a choice hotel.

Carpet was stained like someone had been doing auto mechanics in the room, so it should have been replaced. The bed base was noisy when you moved. There was daylight between the door and doorframe. The metal base of one lamp was completely rusted. Three guys from two doors away were just outside my room drinking and talking loudly until 1:00 AM. The positives were that there was good water pressure, and the lady doing the breakfast was cheery and delightful.

The room was nice and clean. The pool needed a little bit of work, but it was still very relaxing..

The location The floors were dirty, I had to request them to be vaccumed at check-in. They did not advise they only clean daily if requested.

Nothing The room wasn’t clean and the bed wasn’t made we had to go spend $500 At another hotel

When asked about the room, they did graciously move is to another room that was better... at least the door would shut.

Carpet wore out. Shower rod falling off. Toilet leaking. Broken toilet seat.

Not clean. Carpet stained and worn out. Shower and toilet dirty and leaked. Shower curtain rod loose.

*I eventually, asked for fresh linens and fresh towels, bags for the trash cans and cleaned the room myself. 8 people checking in had similar complaints. Front desk contacted manager, Heather B. Who agreed to give me the next day's stay as complimentary.

First room they put me in was smoking. I booked non smoking. Second room was unclean with hair in the shower and Black things smeared on the walls. After my 1 year old found a beer can tucked under a pillow we decided to just leave the property.

It was horrible because when we got there. They said we never booked even though we showed them our confirmation number.
