Very bare bones, virtually no amenities, property hasn’t been updated in ages. If you need somewhere to crash it could work, but temper expectations

Don’t let the google reviews fool you. This is not a nice hotel to stay at, even for a quick stay. Parking is extremely limited and in a less than favorable neighborhood (especially in the Summer when the neighboring university is out of session). The rooms are uncomfortably small and in serious need of updating… and we’re not very clean when we arrived. And the front desk personnel were not courteous nor kind when we were checking in. We relocated to another hotel at 11pm so as to not stay there.

Our room was clean, with modwrn updates, great lighting and mirrors. Also plenty of charging outlets

Walked into room it was very outdated and not very clean, bathroom vent had tape around it and it was falling from the ceiling. It was late when we arrived and we were hungry so we left to get food for a couple of hours and when we returned we walked into our room , room key worked , and our belongings were gone. We immediately went to the front desk. The desk clerk was hesitant and stumbling his words said the housekeeper took our belongings out and he started rummaging through things in the Corning about a room change . They never called me, they never notified us when we returned . I demanded a refund as we felt uneasy and not safe. The area around the hotel does not feel safe either. I do not recommend this establishment and hope Comfort Inn corporate takes this incident very serious.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. And before you ask yourself “could it be that bad?” The answer is yes!!!! There’s not enough words to describe how awful it is. From pee on the toilet seat, to stained walls, mold and mildew smell, broken doors, useless locks, and an overall disgusting room/smell throughout the hotel, this place was horrible! It barely meets minimum standards, I’m almost positive it’s breaking all kind of sanitary rules.

There were some difficult moments - miscommunication with the airport shuttle and water on the floor of our room. One positive is the staff did their best to rectify the situations and make our stay comfortable.

This is an older Hotel and it showed. The bed was comfy, but the pillow cases smelled like some lady's perfume. The sink was slow to drain. The "Not responsible for theft" signs in the parking lot put me on edge. However, the parking lot was extremely well lit and claimed to be patrolled. The evening front desk lady was not too friendly and gave me the impression that I was disturbing her upon arrival. The morning lady was cheerful. The breakfast was nice and had the usual food choices. The Hotel is right next door to a fire station, so we were treated to multiple Sirens during our stay. This hotel was very close to where we were visiting, and I would consider staying here again if there were no other options.

Unexpectedly good hotel. Clean room
-
Room was clean, the rest of the building was a bit rough. Nice staff, just be weary of the location. We felt safe since it’s right next to the firehouse and across from a college campus, but I wouldn’t stay here outside of an airport stay.
-
The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom and the rest of the property was old, outdated, and looked dirty.
-
Good stay overall. Nice big and clean rooms, close to airport and major highway. Ample parking

Room had a bathroom door that physically couldn't be closed and layers of paint that were peeling off of a rotting wooden door underneath. Toilet barely flushed and required a full 15 min between flushes. Shower temperature was difficult to regulate with 90% of the temperature control resulting in icy water, and the other 10% containing the full range from that icy cold to searing hot. Room AC was ineffective. We ran it at 60 degrees (lowest setting) for our entire stay and the room never dropped below 75. The blackout curtains wouldn't actually close leaving a large (>1 inch) gap between them when pulled as closed as they got. The door jam on the room was cracked/broken and looked like it had been kicked in at least once with a shoddy repair job. Multiple outlets in the room were not functional including all of the bedside outlets on one side. One of the bedside lamps was an empty socket with exposed wires coming out. We were told "These are the rooms we have for you" when I asked about changing rooms.

Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast. No complaints

Over my room it was nasty. Couldn’t sleep first night. Changed room the second night

The bathroom was in terrible condition and had a very unpleasant smell. That was the worse part the smell from the bathroom. The bed sheets were stained with what looked like who knows what, which was very off putting. The shower was falling apart and overall felt dirty and poorly maintained. The hair dryer also didn’t work properly. The only area that seemed somewhat clean was the breakfast area. I would only recommend staying here for one night if you have no other options.
