The room was dirty, and the staff had annoyed faces all the time. When I arrived at my room, there were leftover food and containers from the previous guest, and the shower was not clean. The shuttle service was also very disappointing — it took more than 2.5 hours to complete what should have been a 10‑minute pickup.

Cleanliness should be a basic standard at any hotel, and unfortunately, this place did not meet it. I would not recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements to their housekeeping.

This hotel didn’t look like the pictures at all. The room was not clean, and the heating/cooling unit looked like it was growing mold. We requested another room which wasn’t any better so we ended up checking out and getting another hotel. During this experience we also encountered another guest who was unsatisfied with their room.

We found the whole Comfort Inn a place like a prison. Dark, shabby hall carpet, doors uneven, no towel hooks or rack, poor tv reception, insecure surroundings, siren/auto noise just outside window, and constant talk/party just outside our door, However we found shower was wonderful, bright and good shower performance and great bed comfort! Bed lights lovely.

Rooms need alot of maintenance and TLC

Staff extremely nice. Excellent breakfast. They even let it stay out for hotel guests much longer than they had to. The hotel is connected to an old restaurant so when you walk into the back entrance it smells bad but quickly goes away. Room was a king bed & very spacious. Shower was updated. Hotel is just old and in a low income area so it was as good as someone can expect. It is directly across from Widener University so that helped feel safe, but again, it’s in Chester PA so we didn’t go out late. We went to Unos a mile away and back in the room before dark. They have an airport shuttle. Airport is only 15 minutes away. When I booked the package I didn’t realize it was in Chester but the location was ideal for where we needed to be. Overall it’s a 2 star hotel with a 5 star staff and 5 star effort to maintain and a very old property. Parking isn’t great. Limited but you can find 1 or 2 open spots.

Reasonable stay foe a world cup game, clean room, good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Very bare bones, unfriendly front desk, a pillowcase had makeup all over it, the door was broken and someone (housekeeping we think?) tried to get into our room at 7am. We had the lock thrown so we were just woken to the door slamming against the lock. There was no do not disturb sign so we are hoping it was just housekeeping but super early to try to come in. We were happy to leave.

This was the worst hotel Ive stayed at in a very long time. It is severely run down. Poorly maintained and in a terrible neighborhood. There was no parking and I swear I’m not making this up there was someone shooting drugs on the parking lot. The floor was so dirty that it left mud on the shower floor when we went to shower. The staff seemed totally annoyed by having to help us check in. The breakfast was good with the waffle maker and real orange juice. I do not know how this got an 85% approval. This is a 65$ hotel that I paid 225$ for due to the World Cup game. It is on the far south east side of Philly and not close to anything. The Wawa didn’t even keep window washer wands because they got stolen and they stopped buying them. We booked 2 nights and they refused to do a turn down for the second night and left a bag of towels outside our room when I requested new towels. The blinds didn’t work and the curtains were cut to accommodate the air conditioning unit. A terrible stay

Hotel is not located in the best area. Pictures are misleading on the internet. The hotel needs renovations on the outside and it is not very appealing. The rooms were good. Small bathroom. Limited parking. Check-in Staff not overly friendly.

Our door didnt lock after being shut we had to dble slam it. Unable to check when everyone was in room we moved a chair to the door. We were gonna call down but the phone didnt work and at that point it was 1 am. Told staff and they apologized which was good
