Room was clean. Beds/pillows comfortable. Bathroom was good- sink was outside toilet/shower, which is always helpful. Breakfast was substantial- eggs, sausage, waffle maker, oatmeal, lots of toppings, fruit, muffins, cereals, juice, dairy case, coffee, tea… It was our “halfway stop” between PA and Myrtle Beach. Traffic and weather slowed us down, but we called ahead, knowing that we wouldn’t arrive until near midnight. They were very accommodating.

Breakfast was very good. Nice selection. When entering our room it had an extremely musty smell. Air conditioning was not on. Smell got better once it was on but never totally gone. There was garbage left in the pail and when the pull out couch was used there was a small bug on the sheets. So our overnight stay was decent at least.

The staff at the Fairfield were extremely friendly and very helpful. Anything I needed they were right on top of it to get it for me. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The location was good for getting around and the breakfast was ok. This is a 3 star hotel for sure. Not terrible, not great. Clean beds and pillows so that’s a win!

Room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped but better than other places around there. Coffee was gone in the morning quickly and not replaced very fast, as well as some breakfast items. Overall not bad

Staff were all super helpful and did a great job. The room I stayed in needs some updating but otherwise was nice and clean.

It was ok for a one night stop on a long road trip

This hotel was nice but with some drawbacks like the hotel was advertised as with a pool but when I got there, there was none but the location was good and everything else was fine.

I’ve stayed at this property several times and have generally had positive experiences. My most recent stay, however, was disappointing because of the customer service I received from the nighttime front desk attendant. When I arrived, my room door was ajar, and the bed looked as though someone had already been used. I reported my concerns to the front desk, and the attendant explained that housekeeping had forgotten to close the door. I requested a different room. She told me she couldn’t assist me immediately because she was helping other guests, which I completely understood. However, the interaction made me feel as though my concern was more of an inconvenience than something she genuinely wanted to resolve. We also stay here often during softball tournaments. The common area has always been a great place for the teams to gather, catch up, and bond. During this stay, we were watching the Women’s College World Series together. At closing time, the attendant asked everyone to leave, and while I understand she was simply enforcing hotel policy, the way it was handled felt less welcoming than in the past.Overall, I still think this is a good property and will likely stay again. I simply believe the nighttime attendant could benefit from additional customer service training to help make guests feel heard and valued when concerns arise.

Dirty and beat down hotel, stunk of weed, didn’t have a room ready for me even though Expedia confirmed the booking. Breakfast room was a mess, food falling out of trash cans, dirty tables and it was only 7:30am. Worst Fairfield I’ve stayed at, had positive experiences at others.

This did not work as we needed the pull out couch. Therefore, we had to drive the other person to another hotel to stay. ( no other rooms available). Needless to say, we were disappointed.
