I was a little surprised that the following things were even an issue at a marriott property. There looked to be excrement around the base of the toilet. The in-room coffee machine was a joke. The very small filter didnt even fit into the coffee maker! The iron we tried to use left gross marks on my pants because of the build-up on the bottom of the iron. But the worst of it....the sink drained Very Slowly. The staff was very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled great and it was quiet. Thank you.

I immediately reported these issues to the front desk but was given what I felt was an unsatisfactory explanation. I was assured that someone would come and address the concerns while my family and I spent the day at a nearby waterpark. However, when we returned later that day, none of the issues had been resolved. I went back to the front desk and spoke with Claire. She sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and promptly arranged for us to move to another room. I would like to thank Claire for her professionalism, willingness to help, and excellent customer service. While the initial experience was very disappointing, her prompt action and courteous demeanor helped make a difficult situation much better.

The room had several maintenance issues from the moment we arrived. The ironing board was broken with an entire leg out of place, making it impossible to use. The bathroom door was also broken and wouldn’t close properly or lock, leaving a gap where someone outside could potentially see in, which was a serious privacy concern. Given these issues, we asked to be moved to another room, but our request was denied. The bathroom amenities were also incorrect. Instead of shower gel, there were two bottles of shampoo, leaving us with two shampoos and only one conditioner. There were no towels in the bathroom when we checked in. We requested more and were only given three towels. We also requested room service and were assured it would be taken care of. We informed the staff about the missing shower gel as well, and they told us someone would address everything the following day during room service. Unfortunately, neither happened. When we returned to the room, it had not been serviced at all, and nothing had been corrected. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. It’s honestly embarrassing for a Marriott property to provide this level of service and maintenance. I specifically choose Marriott because I expect quality, consistency, and good customer service. Unfortunately, got the opposit

This is a very clean and great place to travel. The one and only complaint I have is the lay out of the room. The tv is not placed for everyone to view in the room. I do like how you can sign into your own Netflix account to watch what you want to on tv. We didn’t get to use any of the other amenities due to spending time in Richmond. But again if you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a large family this is great to stay.

Clean Water pressure(shower) was weak

Nice place to stay in the area. Beds were comfortable staff was super helpful when we needed a few things.

This hotel had numerous areas where maintenance or repair was needed. Bed was comfortable but carpets were literally filthy. See photos. I was conveniently next to shopping and restaurants and i95.

Room was not clean and had a terrible odor. Bathroom vent didn’t work and just overall uncomfortable. We booked a suite that sleeps 6 and the bathroom door was a sliding door with no lock. Showers had barely any water pressure

Very clean, bed was comfortable. The room was larger than expected. The fridge kept my drinks really cold. Most hotel fridges doesn't work that well. I will recommend this property.

Definitely one at the top of the list best hotels to stay at..

The room had no ventilation which made everything feel damp which raised concerns of mold issues. The breakfast never really changed the five days we stayed. There was one lady, I wish I knew her name, that worked the breakfast area who was extremely nice. Unfortunately, she was the outlier. The pool is tiny!! Also, when we started taking our luggage to the car we realized they had shut our key cards off and we were locked out and had to go get it turned back on(this was just after 7am the morning of checkout). All in all I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Good location The beds were terrible
-
The handicap accessible room overall was spacious and efficient for my family’s needs. The only critique is the mattress on the bed was not very comfortable or supportive.

When traveling to VA to visit family we usually stay at Springhill Suites. It’s very clean and the staff are always courteous and friendly! Close to all amenities! Definitely recommend!

Beds were clean. The remote was missing so while looking under the bed, there was water bottles, food, and wrappers. I called the front desk and they advised they couldn’t bring me a remote but I could come and get one. One girl was running the whole hotel.

Nothing Everything- To start off they checked us in a room which was not prepared, house keeping did not come for 4 days despite repeated requests to the receptionist. Had to involve manager. Carpets in hallways were dirty and had a stinking smell. No windows in rooms or hallway that can be opened for fresh air. Breakfast was so bad we didn’t eat despite of the fact we paid. You should downgrade its rating. I am going to email the owner of the facility to complain

Our room was clean and comfortable. There was one suspicious stain on the ottoman, but we didn’t let that bother us too much! The property is still nice right now, but if you look closely, we did notice small minor issues that the property management should consider taking care of. The lobby floor was not spotless, not really a big deal; but noticeable. The trash can placed by the 3rd floor elevator had not been emptied and was giving an unpleasant odor as we came and went. The breakfast on par with what other nearby properties offer. Parking was tight on Saturday night because there was an event being held at the hotel.
