The beds were hard and we woke up with back pain. The shower was a bit tricky to turn on. The towels are like a yellow color from the water? And the makeup towel is so old and mildewy. Other than that, it was quiet and we are thankful we had a room open for the night. It was just not comfortable.

Bugs on the bed and roaches in the room

Room was clean and property was also very clean staff was helpful even thought it was late 4th of July. Asked how our day was and made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely stay again. Also very quite and peaceful

If it’s a quick stay it’s okay. But everything’s old. Old carpet. Old walls. Old beds. Old tables and chairs. But clean. TV was the only thing up to date besides the bathroom.

I LOVED this hotel. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The room was immaculate and cared for beautifully. There was a nice table and two chairs outside each room to sit in the shade and look at the grass and the trees and listen to the birds. Everyone who I met here was so nice and kind, and I ate at the attached restaurant, which had really affordable prices. The linens were pristine and the water was hot. There was a coffee maker in the room. It is located right next to the National Park just outside of town. Besides just being a better hotel than any of the other chains in this town (Holiday Inn and Best Western) is is owned and operated by the Navajo Nation, so I would rather spend my money here and support an independent business.

The toilet was not clean which was a turnoff.

The room was spacious and clean. It was located in a beautiful area. The only downside was the flies. The room was full of them. We killed a bunch of them the entire time. The restaurant also had the same problem. You were constantly swatting them. Other than that it's a nice place.

Older hotel in nice condition

Such a cool discovery. We were right inside the park, convenient to every place we wanted to drive yet outside town. The people were absolutely wonderful—warm & friendly. The grounds were well maintained. The location was quiet (which we appreciate). Will definitely revisit.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Simple amenities but clean. The cafeteria has great options, and the staff are very helpful. The tours of Canyon de Chelly are an incredible experience, highly recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable. It had the feel of a cozy cabin and the location was ideal for us. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I didn’t like was the cafeteria. Who serves severely watered down orange juice? No decaf coffee either.

Driving and getting to the actual lodge was a little convoluted, but ultimately a great quiet location for a nice outdoorsy feel. Staff was courteous and the room was sufficient.
