Good clean place to stay for a night

Did not care for the bed mattress. In house restaurant for breakfast was expensive at $20+ each. Very dated operation. Evening counter guy was great. Morning counter woman - not so much. She was distracted by the manager who had to discuss some mundane issue rather than service a guest who was checking out. Would not choose to stay there again.

The shower was backwards instead of being on one end or the other it was in the middle. The entire floor in the bathroom was soaked. There was so much furniture in the room. We couldn’t even get his electric scooter in there to find a place to plug-in and charge it. There was a table over top of the air conditioner, so it blew under it. We had to move the table to the other side of the room to block the sliding glass door going out back just to be able to cool the room down. It was so hot until we figured out what was wrong. There was too much furniture in that room that you couldn’t even move around for a handicap room We went to go eat breakfast to see what they had for $20. It wasn’t worth runny, eggs and sausage and bacon that look like it wasn’t even cooked.

The A/C in the room was inadequate for the 93 degree weather. The room didn't cool down until late night. The ice machine in the building we were staying in was broken and we were directed to use the machine in another building. I was unable to get access to that building using myr oom key card, having to wait for another guest to enter to gain entry. I asked to speak with a manager when I checked out and was told I would need to wait 1 hour for a manager to arrive. The front desk clerk was indifferent to my experience and didn't offer to have a manager contact me. I worked on the hotel industry for 40 years and have seen all levels of customer service, from excellent to poor. This experience was near the bottom.

Nice area

The room was clean. It had sliding door so that we could unload our luggage directly into our first floor room. Air conditioner had controls that actually worked very well. We had to get breakfast at another hotel because ours only had a $21.00 buffet option, too expensive. The hotels restaurant did have a very nice dinner menu and we ate there 2 nights. The pool area was nice with umbrella covered seating.

The property was nice, the room was clean and a good size, and the check in staff member was friendly. There was no free breakfast, as advertised in the listing. There is a restaurant on the property that was only doing Togo orders the evening we arrived. It was nice to have that option because there aren’t many places to eat in Chinle. The food was adequate. The restaurant also offered a breakfast buffet that we didn’t partake of it. Overall, it was a good place to stay near Canyon De Chelly!

Like the location and the room I was really disappointed when the WIFI in my room didn't work. I contacted reception but it was no use.

They never returned my 50.00 deposit they charge you when you check in. They ripped me off. Also they had no wifi at the area of the hotel where I stayed at.

Incredibly clean, comfortable bed and conveniently located to Canyon de Chelly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Not recommended for another trip

Close to Canyon De Chelly. Nice comfortable bed. Views from a small balcony. Restaurant on site.
