Close to Radford University and close to everything you need. The room had a funny smell.

Location & Bartender The a/c was set to 70 but at night it stayed at 74. My card was charged multiple times for different amounts. The manager Bella is very nice and is trying to get the charges dropped off.

Anyone we interacted with was friendly. Free breakfast for IHG members. Needs a major refresh. Outdated decor, furniture, paint etc. Bathroom had visable rust around tracking. Tiny darks hairs left in shower. Mattress needs to be replaced, it has several mattress toppers on it trying to make it better but it's just time to replace. The breakfast was ok for being free, but I would not pay for it. We ordered room service one night and the fries were good but the margarita pizza was different than we're used to, and it would've tasted good but there was too much balsamic. It was also pretty load at night with slamming doors and drunk people.

Bathroom vent was not working and tub stopper was broken. Bathroom had a musty smell from the vent not working. Breakfast was cold and seating area was not appealing.

The pool area was unbelievably hot and humid if you were just in there watching your children.

Room was very nice as were the staff. One complaint is the lack of parking. And when I booked the room with Expedia, they asked if I wanted breakfast for two for $12. I declined. When I checked in, they gave me a gift card for free breakfast for two. Room wasn’t cheap after fees and taxes but I like Holiday Inn.
