Nice hotel

The place is set in a nice area, but we had a terrible experience. Entering the room, I found stain on the counter and near my bed, where I could not use it as it appeared to be smears that may have been missed in cleaning, along with the hair ball next to the closet door. At 1:40 am someone had pulled a fire alarm. It disturbed our stay because we were there one night for a tournament. It made the whole stay unpleasant. No apology or update from staff? We tried to call reception to see what the procedure was and if we had to exit the building. There was no response from the staff. Overall, this left a safety concern as I was traveling with family. We will not be staying here again.

Well maintained, modern and very clean facility. I really enjoyed the outdoor pool and the free breakfast which was always fresh and delicious and the staff were great. The only thing that I would say needs an upgrade is the gym equipment. For some reason, the elliptical machine was malfunctioning . Otherwise, it is a five star hotel.

Absolutely excellent stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive—they truly made us feel taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was also very convenient, and the entire property felt safe and inviting. What impressed us most was the level of hospitality and attention to detail. We had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with exceptional service. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

No lights at the hotel. They go off every 30 seconds in the bathroom. The rooms have no lighting.

A beautiful hotel. Very clean. Lots of sleeping spaces for large families. Pool area was phenomenal, breakfast was great!

The area itself is clean, safe, and upscale, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. However, the hotel is quite far from San Diego’s main attractions, including the Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, USS Midway, and downtown. The nearby SR-125 toll road was also inconvenient, and avoiding it meant taking Telegraph Canyon Road, adding extra time to many trips. Our room was clean, but the layout was poorly designed. The sliding bathroom door is located directly in the middle of the room between the two beds and opens toward the beds, providing very little privacy. The beds were also advertised as Queens but felt like Full-size (double) beds. Housekeeping was only provided every other day. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre and very average. On several mornings, they ran out of items before breakfast ended and did not adequately restock them. Overall, the hotel was okay, but not worth what we paid. The location, toll road, average breakfast, smaller-than-expected beds, and especially the terrible room layout would keep us from staying here again.

Good and varied breakfast buffet items. Pool was delightful, with wind screens in some locations. Fairly new facility. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Elevators - very short waits for them to arrive.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Staff was friendly and the property was beautiful! Complimentary breakfast was also great! Highly recommend!
