Element by Marriott San Diego Chula Vista

As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and happy with this hotel. Beautiful hotel as well.

El hotel es prácticamente nuevo. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y tienen espacios adecuados. Las cámas son extremadamente cómodas. Lo único que me pareció extraño es que tiene una cocina totalmente equipada dentro de la habitación(incluidos platos, vasos, cubiertos y cazerolas), pero no cuenta con una mesa para poder comer.

We stayed just one night. Overall, it was good. The kitchenette was really nice and I wish we had an opportunity to use it. The hotel was new, so everything seemed really clean. Our room door was difficult to open and it took several tries. We can hear the door unlock, but we had issues actually opening it. The bathroom sliding door was EXTREMELY difficult to close. I clearly stated that we had 2 adults and 2 children staying in the room, but we only got 3 bath towels. You can also hear everything that's happening outside. My credit card was charged a day early and I had to call and correct it. The agent that assisted me was very kind and helpful, but I still feel that I shouldn't have been charged prior to my stay. During check-in, the front desk staff was nice, but they didn't know why my credit card got charged at all since they thought my third-party booking doesn't charge guests' credit cards. There was a bunch of confusion because of that. I understand the hotel just opened and the staff is just learning, but it made me a little uneasy. The breakfast layout was not thoughtful of the flow of guests trying to be food. The condiments were also all on one shelf on to of one of the carts, making it difficult to use. With such an elegant feel to the whole place, I would expect at least one type of meat protein offered at breakfast. The hotel looked great walking in, but there are some things that need some work.

There was remodeling taking place and that was noisy. Worst of all was the noise in the evening from jet planes repeatedly flying over the hotel.

We stayed the night on our way down to drive the Baja. Beautiful property and brand new. Dog friendly, rooms were really nice, comfortable bed, kitchenette was well stocked, huge bathroom, nice pool, great breakfast, plenty of parking, and I could go on and on. Staff was helpful and friendly as well.

New, clean and worth it

Everything was great! but we had an issue with ants! Ants were coming in from somewhere and crawling on the beds, table, bathroom, kitchen and outlets beside the beds. The staff was notified of the issue and they sent someone to spray.

El hotel recién inició operaciones por lo que notamos falta de organización. Teníamos desayuno incluido pero al parecer poco y muy lento personal al final decidí desayunar fuera del hotel ya que no surtian Cafe, Jugos, luche, le tos en la preparación. Al inicio reserve habitación para 3 personas y cuando llegue me dieron la habitación con una sola cama y no había mas así que dormí en el suelo. Las tarjetas de entrada al cuarto fallaban continuamente
