Comfort Inn & Suites Cincinnati Uptown Clifton

We were inconvenienced because we didn’t have water from 7pm until up in the morning. We went to bed without a shower after being at the hospital all day.

Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Property was spacious and very clean.

The room needed to be vacuumed dusted and less musty

After driving nearly five hours through heavy rain, I arrived exhausted. The first thing I noticed was the poorly maintained parking lot, which immediately gave me a bad impression. At check-in, the front desk staff showed no warmth or friendliness. The process was simply completed without a smile or even a welcoming attitude. The room was also disappointing. There were several hairs in the bathtub and on the shower handle, making it clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly. The conditioner dispenser was completely empty, and overall the housekeeping felt very minimal. The air conditioner had been turned off before my arrival, so the room felt stuffy and the air didn’t seem fresh. Breakfast was another letdown. The selection was very limited, and the waffle batter looked unusual. After cooking a waffle, it tasted sour and unpleasant, so I couldn’t finish it. It made me feel that many aspects of the hotel were being neglected and not properly maintained. Finally, when I checked out, the older gentleman at the front desk, who may have been the owner, did not make eye contact, smile, or say a single word as I returned my room key. It was a disappointing way to end the stay. Overall, this hotel felt poorly maintained, and the lack of cleanliness, attention to detail, and customer service made it an experience I would not choose

Staff was great!

Breakfast was good happy hour was even better. Need more staff to help with cleaning of the rooms better. Older couple that does the cleaning needs a lot of help.

It was just so-so. Not the greatest neighborhood.

My only problem was the fridge made an annoying tapping sound that messed with my sleep. Had to unplug but everything else was great.

The room was maintained fine but the whole building seemed run down. The lobby and halls smelled musty and like they’d been smoked in. However, the room blocked the smell out fairly well. The staff was very friendly but the property just needs some updating.

Surprisingly clean and nice rooms! The outside looks a little sketch but it was really nice and clean! Parking lot it a mess but overall it was great and we would stay here again.

No free breakfast :-(, but otherwise a very nice, beautiful property.

Right off the highway. Hotel is older but clean and ran well. It’s about a 10-15 drive to downtown to have a meal. Beds and pillows weren’t that comfortable and we could hear cars accelerating loudly until about 2am outside our window. But if you’re staying for one night, it’s fine.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot was a little different with there parking spaces.

With this said, hallways and room did have smell of cigarettes, etc, was not pleased with second hand smoke. If you have children, do not reserve at this hotel due to second hand smoke. Also, room only had hot water, no cold water for sink and bathtub. Was going to address with staff but didn't find it convenient to do so. Room came with hair blow dryer in bathroom and small fridge and TV in main room (as an FYI). Overall, stay at hotel was not as expected and would not recommend location, however, hotel had required amenities and was clean (except for the smoking, etc).
