Residence Inn by Marriott Claremont

Nice enough hotel, close to freeway and about 10 minutes from the Claremont Colleges and downtown. Hotel has several EV chargers, however all are Tesla destination chargers, so bring the appropriate (non-fast charge) adapter if your car is CCS.

new property. Everything looked new and worked perfectly. Staff was very friendly & professional. Very convenient location, just a few minutes drive from Claremont College.

There’s nothing to not like

I was not particularly happy with the location. It is near the freeway and there is a lot of freeway noise which kept me up at night. It is located in the middle of suburbia, with a huge parking lot. Yet the hotel decides to charge $18 a day for parking??? I kept seeing on the Expedia website..."no hidden fees, no hidden charges. what you see is what you pay." It's probably my fault. If I read the fine print I probably would have noticed the parking fee. Still after all the "no hidden fee" hype, it rubbed me the wrong way. It is a decent place to stay but to me it is not a 5/5 star property.

The facility is very clean and quite new, I like it. And it is very convenient! Outside my room, there is a main road, I can hear the noise from it

A nice place to stay for family vacation,.

It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, inconveniently located. It’s a little too close to the highway, but the soundproofing was good, so it didn’t really bother us. I didn’t like that the pool closed at 10 PM, but that was a minor complaint.

Everything was good , location amenities and look of the building itself . The security guard was awesome We had to pay for the parking daily and the swimming pool water was cold .

Brand new hotel. Rooms were clean & designed well. My one complaint was the toilet paper. Very cheap for the quality of the hotel.

Honestly one of the best options for a hotel in Claremont. The staff was super nice and helpful. I had an issue with the air conditioner in the room and they fixed it within minutes. The breakfast was also really good and they have a parking structure so my car was safe.

Booked through booking.com which says check out by 12:00. When I checked in, the front desk told me their check out is actually by 11:00, and when I told them about booking.com where I booked, they told me the 11:00 check out time is "all over there website" as if I check their website. They also charged extra fee for the parking (which was not clear on booking.com), usually hotels have clear signs if they charge additional for the parking but this hotel did not have any sign. When asked about it, again they said it's "all over there website". Feels disrespectful to the customers.

I stayed at the Residence Inn for 4 days 3 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel was super clean the staff was very friendly. I also enjoyed the breakfast and the young man that was working the breakfast was very helpful.

Lovely! Clean. Newly renovated. Very comfy bed and sheets. Well-appointed room. Fresh hot breakfast with several choices. Definitely stay there again!

Opening day. Staff was really nice, the cleaning, front desk, breakfast, everyone. Spotless, comfortable.

Employees were so helpful. I was having some trouble with my cards but they were able to troubleshoot and get me into my room. Everything was clean, quiet. Only thing which the hotel has no control over was the freeway noise.

So dirty. Staff so rude.
