The room was clean. But when I asked about getting towels (I didnt know you had to ask for housekeeping every day), we went to leave and there were towels on the floor outside our door. No one knocked to let us know. I informed the front desk and the lady told me I could have just used them. Um, id rather have clean towels. Not ones that have been on the floor. I can understand paying for breakfast during the week, but with it being so busy on the weekends, it would have been nice to have complementary breakfast. There were a couple leaks that should be looked into. I made the desk aware of those as well. But dont know if anything will be done.

The front desk lady was very down to earth!

Apparently they gave someone a key to my room as well and they tried to get in at 1 a.m Glad I had the flip lock in place. Took a while to get back to sleep..Check out time is 11:00 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. I had a cleaning lady tried to open the door as well. 🤔 You always smell marijuana in the hallway like someone is smoking it in their room but they don't have any smoking rooms. The 220 volt wiring to the dryer in the laundry room is completely exposed. I reported it to maintenance twice in the manager once and three weeks later it's still exposed.

Rooms clean. Swimming pools great. Had a great experience

The pool is beautiful, the location is good. Rooms are definitely a little outdated and could be cleaner. We were locked out of our room two times (we only stayed two nights) because the key cards wouldn’t work.

After reading some of the reviews I was really nervous to stay here. I’m happy to report it was a pleasant stay. It was affordable and I absolutely agree with the other reviews on how comfy the bed was. That was the BEST part of the stay. When the bed is good, the stay can’t be bad. As for the main building, you can definitely tell they put lot of money into it and make sure it is maintained. It’s beautiful in there. As for “I” building, I do think it is alright but the carpet could use a replace to a lighter, more inviting color, and the lighting in the hall way corridors could be a bit brighter to look more inviting . Upon entering the room , I immediately appreciated the fact they put the air on , it was a nice touch and it felt fresh and amazing in there. The room its self was clean smelling and the bed was nicely made with fresh white sheets. and FIVE pillows! That was an amazing touch. I had a great nights sleep but when I awoke, and wanted breakfast , I was disappointed when I found out there is a restaurant in the main office part of the building and you can go there to purchase your breakfast. I do think for around $80 what can you expect. But come on. Not even some yogurt or waffle machine? And also no one is talking about the $100 incidental fee. There is a nice big tv in the room so I understand to an extent but Jesus Christ.

Great stay, staff was very friendly, and helpful. Hotel was older but very nice! Miss the look of the older hotels. They are very unique, and not cookie cutter. Room was very clean! Thank you!

Toilet was terrible, bath soap and shampoo was irritating, old tv system in the room and the worst was, the shower almost fell 😭

A/C did not work .

The management is clearly improving the property, we stay there a lot because of derby playhouse

The place was filthy. You know the kind of hotel where the floors are sticky and smelled like old disinfectant. There was an inside pool but I didn't use it. The sheets were crunchy!

The bar and staff was wonderful. The DJ was awesome. The bathrooms need tending to. Tub seemed old and cracking. We was hoping for the outside pool and found out it wasn’t part of the hotel. It was our 35th anniversary and was hoping for the pool.

Mattress sides had tears. Furniture falling apart. Pull out sofa was in horrible condition.

Nice hotel, family atmosphere, and affordable price.
