Our first room had a very potent smell of marijuana. The hotel has a 100% no smoking but is hard to control people breaking the rules. Our next room had 3 small roach looking insects. On the way home found a bed bug. Staff and pool area are nice. Great potential for the rest of the place.

The staff was very nice. The hotel def dates itself to the 70's-80's. Was it good for the price? ok yes. The bathroom though...oh my! Who would take an old spa tub, cover the holes with tape, put stuff over them and then use it as a cover over the old tub which was larger? And the caulking job all around it was gross! There was mildew on it and if someone had kids you could not have bathed them in it. The pool I did not get to use due to the schedule, but was a very nice size and would be great for a family with kids for a night stay. $135 for 2 nights thru Expedia...did not know the area but felt safe and could use some good clean up maintenance to make it a nice place!

Terrible, toilets were so dirty, just way too many things wrong with this place!
-
The room was not clean. The bathroom toilet was not cleaned. We noticed bedbugs on the towels. We did not stay the two nights. We left and went to another hotel. I am requesting a refund. I will be reporting the condition of the room to the BBB.

Staff very helpful. Facilities need to be updated.

It was a good stay

Hotel is very clean quiet and in a great location to travel to see other parts of the areas museums and distillery.
-
The place was clean however the staff was the rudest I have ever met. Talked to us as if we were trash! Never again!
-
Staff helpful, but everything else was just average.
-
The hotel has sadly not been kept up by the owners. I went to a couple of conventions in the past here and it was so nice. The staff was awesome but the rooms really needed a lot of work. The shower faucet was coming off and the tub drain broken. We were too tired to ask for a new room when we got there but did let the staff know when we checked out so they could repair it before the next person checked in.

The hotel had a horrible smell. Other than that, it was a great stay.
-
Our stay was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a short drive to downtown, the river, and cute restaurants. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice. I appreciated the free onsite parking. One thing to note is that breakfast is an additional fee. Overall a great value for the price.

It was a little dated but clean considering
-
I heard that pool was great. I didn’t use it though
-
Great room for a fantastic midweek price with a view over a man-made lake. Convenient location en route to Louisville across the non-toll bridge into downtown. Clean. Up to date. Comfortable. The deposit aspect was done in a way that was a bit confusing. But the stay itself could not have been better.
