Courtyard by Marriott Clearwater Beach

The room was very clean, the staff were very nice and accommodating to our needs. We stayed for the week of July 4th and had a gulf view balcony which gave the perfect view of the fireworks from the 5th floor! Clearwater beach is definitely a busy crowded beach but a short 10 minute drive to Indian rocks beach gave us the laid back non crowded beach we were looking for! Hotel is in walking distance of the shopping strip, several good restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and Pier 60 which is beautiful of the morning and evening. Parking is Valet only and $30 a day which was unexpected but a very nice amenity to be able to pull to the front and get out and not worry about finding parking and walking. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

This property was just off the main strip which was great . The beach was only a block away with close restaurants and things to do . The roof top bar and pool both had beautiful views. I would stay here again .

Lue the rooftop bartender was terrific. Betsy who worked the 4th floor bar and restaurant was amazing. The location was great and the beaches were amazing!

ac didn't with in my room

Ac was not working well in my room. I notified the front desk to said they would have it fixed right away. They never fixed the ac and by the time I got back to my room it was late. The room stayed warm and was not comfortable to sleep.

The room was beautiful and large the view was perfect. The hotel was clean Was sent a message in the morning saying my room was ready when i got there it was not. I was told it needed to be cleaned i'm guessing my original room was given away. said it wouldn't take long . The guy took my number down said he would call me . well he left I waited 2 hrs and watched lines of people come and go finally I went up and spoke to the girl who took over his spot my room had been ready she had the note with 3 to call me but didn’t. I sat there 2 hrs for nothing. The 1 elevator was broken and no stairs to use . the credit card machine in the lobby food bar was down every morning the girls seemed overwhelmed and annoyed by the situation. Everyone hates the valet parking just be done with it and get security for your garage. The guy's that do the valet are great it's just an inconvenience. Just pay them to watch it and make sure it's being used by people who stay there let people park their own car..

They made us feel welcome the only complaint was the pool towels but not a big deal.

The biggest ongoing issue was the pool towels. The towel shed was always empty, so I had to keep going to the front desk to request towels. On my last night, I asked for towels for an evening swim and was asked if I knew about the towel fee. I explained that I had been there all week and no one had mentioned a fee before. I also questioned what the resort fee covers if pool towels cost extra. To make matters worse, I was told to bring my wet towels back to the front desk afterward, which felt inconvenient. The shower was also disappointing. The water pressure was so harsh that I had to point the shower head toward the wall just to make it comfortable. Maintenance replaced the shower head after I reported it, which I appreciated, but it didn't improve the problem. Finally, I booked a room with two queen beds, but they felt much smaller than standard queen beds. When I asked about it, I was told they were Marriott's standard size, but they definitely didn't feel that way. Overall, the stay was decent, but better customer service, more reliable pool towel availability, and improvements to the room amenities would have made a big difference.

For the price and location, well worth the stay. I highly recommend.

We only stayed for one night but it was amazing. The views the pizza restaurant downstairs was delicious. 😊

It was a great location not far from the beach.

Nice, quiet room I experienced on the hallway end with blackout shades. Staff was great. My only complaint was the additional charges added to my bill. I did not expect such a high valet parking bill of $38 per night along with $30.00 per night for destination fee and other taxes making my per night stay overpriced.

The room was spotless! Very comfortable. Family friendly, easy access to the beach, the restaurant downstairs is delicious! We love it definitely coming back

The little pizza shop was great!

It’s not free they are charging you 30$ a night in addition to everything else. So if you don’t use your “ credits” then you lose them. If you have a car/rental is 38$ a day for that as well. Plus tax. So it’s 70$ a night in fees they won’t tell you about that you will pay at check out.
