Quality Inn & Suites Clemmons I-40

I gad a flat tire and needed a nice, safe place to stay before getting new tires in the morning. This place was perfect!

As I walked into the lobby I was wondering why the place was 80 degrees and I realized they don't use the AC in the common areas. When I got into the room, I had to turn the AC to 65 to stop from sweating. The hotel definitely needs work. The shower and toilet area had cracks in the drywall and screws showing where the drywall came off. Lots of caulked areas to cover up damage from water damage. The shower floor was pealing up. I had ants crawling on my drink cup when I got back from dinner. The lamps beside the bed were barley attached to the wall. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall, and the fire sprinkler was rusted.

I have to be honest: I’m a single woman who travels and I’ve never seen a parking lot so well lit. There was little congestion and I felt safe walking from my car to the door. The front staff was very pleasant and the breakfast staff was amazing. The rooms were remodeled and the AC was everything.

That they only have rooms with a four person capacity

There were a lot of dead bugs in the room and our room smelled kind of like mildew. The beds were comfortable and the employees were nice. It was close to many restaurants. We didn't try the breakfast.

The location It was very outdated

Conveniently located at a competitive rate. The room was stuffy and the air conditioning didn't work properly couldn't get it to cool. The bathroom and hallway smelled moldy. The bathroom looked worn and in need of modifications.

This hotel is very small but for the money it was decent the breakfast was very basic nothing much. The room size was pretty good.

It was very clear that their standards of upkeep (maintenance) and cleanliness are different from mine. Unacceptable to have chipping paint, cigarette burns and stains on comforter, hole in the wall from door stopper being knocked in in the bathroom, ceiling above shower rusted and peeling. 2nd room had dried on brown stuff dripping down bathroom door. Just old and rooms not taken care of. Needs renovations and TLC from maintenance which they do not have on site. Management offered me no adjustment for inconveniences on changing rooms but did offer me a refund to go stay somewhere else so I wouldn't complain. SMH

Always clean, quiet, and comfortable. Have stayed here many times.

The friendly manager. Accommodations. Clean room and nice towels and sheets. Easy to get on I 40 Price was reasonable Tv was hard to navigate.

It smelled like moth balls.
