Motel 6 Cleveland, TN

Honestly this was one of the nicest motel 6 locations I’ve stayed in. Very clean and it looked like it had been recently renovated. The only downside was they tacked on an extra hidden fee for staying with a pet which was a little frustrating given that all other motel 6 locations allow pets for free. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Could use tub stoppers for people that likes taking baths but other than that great property for the price

The room was nice and clean. Had a little trouble getting the TV to start working. I only had three towels for six people. Booked a room with three beds in it very place with the room.

I was shocked how nice this Motel 6 was. I definitely didn’t have high expectations but it was a great place. It has been updated and they did a great job. Floors were laminate and that is a plus. The bathtub had chipped paint but we didn’t care! The room we got had 2 king beds that were very comfortable too. Front staff was nice too.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms are HUGE! I like that there is a front and a back door - a shared back patio, if you will. Easy key access, just tap your card on the sensor and doors open. The front desk lady guided me to the stairwell on the extreme far end of the building from my room at check-in. It wasn't until I lugged my heavy bags up those stairs and all the way to my room at the far end of the hallway that I saw there was another stairwell on that end as well, opening right to my room, that I could have driven my bags to and saved all that heavy walking. Not a big deal, I was just given bad advice since I'm sure she knew the locations of everything. Maybe she didn't know yet. The bedroom is huge! But the bathroom is ironically cramped. Where your legs go when you sit on the toilet is also where the door swings in. And the light switches are a little inconvenient - the one for the bathroom sink is all the way by the front door; the only switch by the sink is for the bathroom light. Sink itself is great though! One last thing I feel I should mention - after I checked out the following day, I went back in to ask the manager for change for a $5 bill (drink machine only takes $1s), and he was in the middle of an argument with a resident who was staying 2 days, via an online booking (like mine). The manager was very calm and polite (despite the customer's angry and rude demeanor), but the issue was the customer was expected to "check out" in between day 1 and day 2 - actually move his stuff out - while the staff cleaned all the rooms from 11a~3p, or be charged a $30 "early check in" fee for his second night. In either case, he was told he needed to check in again before he stayed his second night. Him being charged an extra $30 to stay in his room on the second day - after paying for both nights online prior he said - sounded absolutely ridiculous. I would have been upset too, though I cannot fault the manager for simply telling him "that is just the way it is." If that is indeed the policy of that Motel 6, I also think that is terrible.

Great location....right off the highway....easy on and off. Really clean, no smells...looks like recently renovated....plenty of parking, clean parking lot.

It had 3 beds in one room. Very convenient. Clean. Very nice staff and very helpful. Great for the price. No pool. No breakfast.
