Front desk was new employee but super friendly and so was the house keeping girls..will gladly revisit anytime . thank you

The staff at this hotel were excellent. They were super friendly, super helpful, and invited questions if we had any. The room itself was average. One light fixture was dented, the sink had been cracked in multiple ways and repaired with epoxy or something, there was an ibuprofen and a piece of litter on the floor (so it was obvious it hadn’t been vacuumed carefully after the last customers), and the hair conditioner bottle in the shower was empty. In the morning, the coffee decanter was out of coffee, but the front desk put a full one out when that became obvious. The breakfast bar is scant, but sufficient for the price of the room.

Very clean. Smelled clean, not smoky. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The bed was comfortable.

Maids did not service our room on the second day. I had to ask for towels and for the bed to be fixed. She brought me into the laundry room and I put my own towels in the dirty bin and waited for clean ones. Conditioner and Soap were also empty. Breakfast was ok. Microwave breakfast sandwich and some juice.

However, there was the inedible "full" breakfast. Besides cereal and bagels (etc.) there were only prepackaged breakfast sandwiches that had questionable ingredients to reheat in a microwave. Of note was something called "bacon" that was more like a thinly sliced spam-like product sitting on a rubbery egg patch. The coffee was below average. After the first morning we went to the nearby MacDonald's for a hot breakfast. The most deflating aspect of our stay was the atmosphere set by the decor of our room. I don't have the fanciest house or the best decorating eye, but I know when colors of the curtains don't match the walls. And the walls don't match the art work, and the carpet doesn't match anything. The different blends of greens and browns created a depressing display. I must say, however, it was my opinion that the room had been recently renovated as the window treatment and carpet were new and the refrigerator and microwave were spotless and new. That was pleasant.

Our first night here was horrible. It started with a person sitting on the floor across from our door pounding on our door. Then it sounded like moving furniture on floor above us. Next it was loud yelling next door. By 3:00 it started to quiet down when my daughter’s glucose monitor went off showing extreme low. I commend the staff when I ran to the desk she was able to get me OJ and offered anything else I needed. Staff both days was exceptional! Second day after 8 hours at hospital came back to rest (since little sleep night before) had to ask to move because above us was at it again. This night we slept beautifully with no noise! Thank you again for excellent staff!

The staff was good the rooms were clean. I was SHOCKED at the price of this hotel for a weekday in Cloquet. Way overpriced.

i used bookings.com and paid twice. hotel new nothing and i bought furniture for someone that did not provide any service so i had to pay TWICE. worst experience ever.

The location The breakfast was beyond poor. The coffee was old and at times cold. The had dirty old mattress visible for public viewing. The carpet looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in years. The odor was unbearable.

Clean , friendly people

The front desk clerk wasn’t very friendly. There was no elevator and the room had a strange smell. Bed was clean and fairly comfortable. Cannot recommend for elderly that have trouble handling stairs.

Security at the property? I got to the site around 1130 pm and there was an active theft happening in the parking lot, the guy ran off when i pulled in. I reported it to the receptionist and he did a great job handling it. Was a little taken back to learn that there were no cameras on the front of the building towards the parking lot. Then the next day at my meeting a person there said that he had stayed there a few weeks ago and his truck was broken into, and another guy said that it happens quite often there. The screens on a few of the front rooms looked like somebody had tried pulling them off from the outside in the past. I probably will avoid this spot in the future due to security reasons. The staff and the room were great though.

It had an inviting look from the outside, not trashy!! Inside was clean and clerk behind desk was friendly and appearance was very good!! Room was clean, bed was comfortable!! But could use a higher stool in the bathroom and wanted to wash a load of clothes and the washer and dryer were not in where we thought but did ask so was able to get it done!! Coffee needs some help, maybe different water?? But did enjoypur stay!! A mother/daughter weekend!! Had Fun!!

The bed was very comfortable and are room was large. The bathroom under the sink had not been cleaned. Loved their shampoo they had in the shower.

Entrance to hotel was a bit confusing. We could not find the address. It is right behind Perkins.
