really amazing place. Had it as a base due to attending a wedding in the city. Everything was good and the service level for on point.

Beautiful historic inn, great location. We are 80+ years old. Stairs were challenging.
-
Great little spot to stay and close to downtown.

Also, a great location near the water and other restaurants. Great coffee and cute breakfast in the room.

Helpful staff, lovely setting. Appreciated the gift card to their restaurant with patio dining. The mattress needs to be replaced however, we rolled toward the middle all night.

Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The staff was very helpful. Location is amazing and the attached restaurant is phenomenal! Loved the live music. Stephanie Renee, the performing artist, was wonderful and set the mood for dinner. The only downside was the bathroom not being attached to the room. However, I believe our room was the only one like that and the staff did let us know in advance. All the other rooms with attached bathrooms were already taken. It was still a lovely stay and the bathroom was still private and not accessible to others. Just in the future we will probably opt to stay in one of the other rooms with the attached bathrooms instead.

We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. The menu offerings were a nice assortment and the cocktails delicious. The codes to retrieve and return the keys is a bit clunky. Perhaps there is a better way?

A beautiful property with staff members that you can tell really take pride in the guest experience. We had wonderful conversations with the staff who gave us great recommendations for things to do and check out in the area. Restaurant was also fantastic - the salmon chowder was truly the best soup I’ve ever had. We hope to be back again someday soon.

We love the location of Greenbrier property; easy to get to and we were always able to find parking even on July 4 weekend… Also easy access to downtown and walking distance to all sorts of eateries, the waterfront, etc. While we take full responsibility for reading the specs and description of the property, the room was much much smaller than we anticipated, the closet where you can hang your clothes was in the toilet room, the sink was outside and in the open space, there was no light in the shower, and just very little space to spread out even for two people! Also, we were disappointed that the bistro on the property was not open for coffee, breakfast or lunch, just dinner!

Last minute booking here for us- it is a home in a residential area that has been converted into a “ hostel” type accommodation. There is a restaurant downstairs and it is very close to downtown so the location was great. The property manager was helpful and kind. The only negative thing about the property is I would assume because the building was built in 1908 the plumbing is old so there is an odd sewage smell that comes and goes. If you’re looking for a funky/historic/non-hotel type place to stay this would be it!

The restaurant and bar staff were knowledgeable and very attentive. Chef did an excellent job and drink menu was creative and delicious. Live music on the outdoor stage was a bonus. Loved the entire building decor inside and out. Room was inviting, period decor really set off a great vibe for our stay. Will book here again 100%.

I couldn’t work the coffee pot well

The manager (or maybe owner?) Mike was extremely helpful and gracious with his time in helping us out with a particular predicament we found ourselves in (self inflicted). He did not have to do it and he did. Nothing

Its a treasure of a home, not much I would change.
