Nice location but hotel didn’t respect the fact that I reserved a king size bedroom.

We stayed in several places during our tour of the Colorado Springs area. The Holiday Inn Express was the best of the places we stayed. The Surf Hotel in Bueno Vista was the worse place we stayed. When you hire young, pretentious millennials to handle customer service, the business will fail. In contrast, the Holiday Inn had excellent staff and every person, from the guy who took care of breakfast, to the staff handling room cleanups were polite & professional! Excellent location, polite staff, good breakfast and a clean, comfortable room for the money ($).
