MainStay Suites Colorado Springs East - Medical Center Area

Overall a fine hotel and a good option if you need to be on the east side of the city. Can only think of one recommendation: Some of the soundproofing could be improved. When the air conditioner unit wasn’t running, traffic noise from outside was noticeable, as were pipe movements in the wall (I could hear when the room above flushed, which while not terrible also wasn’t an enjoyable thing to hear as I’m falling asleep).

This hotel was supposedly dog friendly but wasn’t allowed to leave dog in room alone and no place on property to take your dog to use bathroom

Only stayed for one night during a move, but the room and property were AMAZING! Modern and new. The kitchenette was cute and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. The beds weren't great, but that's just because I like something a lot less firm. The breakfast was delicious! In walking distance to King Soopers if you need anything. Will most definitely be back if I'm staying in COS again.

The entrance is a bit misleading because it looks like they have two separate entrances which is incorrect. We found that out the hard way. It is MainStay and Comfort all together in one at the "main" entrance. The location can be a bit tricky to get to with the road repairs that were going on during the week of June while we were there. Available parking at night is somewhat limited so be aware of this if you will be out around 10:00 pm or later.

Barn door bathroom door came off the hinge as soon as we opened almost crushed us. Got charged a fee for my seizure dog. Night crew wouldnt answer any of our questions. Perhaps one of the worst stays ive had. Seeking a refund

We love everything about the hotel, and Micheal, you prepared delicious breakfast e ery morning we enjoyed so much , and the pool and hot-tub is amazing, everyone is so friendly we will come again!!

Breakfast was great. AC fine I had reservation 4/15-4/19. I was called on 4/18 at 11 saying there was stuff in the room and I had checked out that morning at 630. This wasn’t the case. I explained I had a reservation and had it on my phone. The lady said I could reserve a longer stay by need a credit card. I had already paid for my stay. I was on the Westside touring Glen Erie castle. I had to leave ( loosing the money I paid for the tour and tea) I got back to the hotel, they had checked out someone at 630 that morning and they gave my room number. So it was the staffs fault. I wasn’t happy but it did get worked out. But all I could think is they were going to take my stuff out of the room before I got there. Very stressful. Not what you go on vacation for.

However, the check-in and check-out times were frustrating. A 4:00 PM check-in combined with an early check-out significantly reduces the actual usable time of the stay. It ends up feeling like you are paying for a full night but only getting a partial day. Because of that, I will be avoiding hotels with these kinds of hours going forward. It takes away from an otherwise great stay and just doesn’t feel like a good value.

Bathroom sink was so clogged the sink wouldn’t drain 1 ounce after using. Toilet paper holder was broke and TP kept falling
