Loved the whole house and suite.

It was a nice stay.

Everything was perfect!

For the price it would be nice to have a continental breakfast offered.

No control heat/AC in our room. Remarkably warm all night long during hot July weather.

Nice place to stay near Merriweather Post Pavilion. Very quiet and friendly staff. The rooms are big.

there was no breakfast

The charm, uniqueness and the style of the property. It's in a nice area of Columbia and close to many restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. There were no amenities like described on the website. No game room, workout room, and no appetizers and wine tasting offered like the pictures online. For the price we paid to stay there for 1 night, we should have gotten a hot breakfast. Our room had several light bulbs burnt out. The bathmat was unraveling at the seem, and the outside deck and cushions were worn, faded and torn. The little details matter, especially at that price.

I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that.

The room was large and the king sized bed was comfortable and there was a desk and a TV. The AC worked well. The fireplace was electric. There was a large deck in back. The floors on the balconies didn't seem sturdy and the hotel seems to suffer from a little delayed maintenance. There is no staff on duty past 10 pm, until 9:00 am. There are many awards posted on the walls, so the hotel has an interesting history. Parking is plentiful. It may be up for sale.

Home away from home rice quick getaway A couple of things need to be updated such as the fireplace. The flame was not working and the dome lights over the Jacuzzi was not working.

We stayed in the T suite located in the basement. The room was large with two queen size beds. The bathroom was nicely renovated and very clean. I did find the bed a bit uncomfortable and the room a little warn. Would have been nice to have a ceiling or floor fan to help circulate the air.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. While the staff member on duty was friendly and attempted to assist me, the overall experience did not meet the standard expected for the price point. Upon check-in, I found hair in the bedding of the first room. When I alerted the front desk, the staff member simply brushed the hair off and replaced the same duvet rather than changing the sheets. I later discovered more hair on the other side of the bed and noticed that the couches and carpets were visibly stained and poorly maintained. Due to these issues, I was moved to Room S. However, this room also had significant cleanliness and maintenance problems, including hair in the bathroom, stains on the walls, and a complete lack of hot water in both the bathroom and the kitchenette. I was forced to wash my daughter’s bottles in a common area sink. Furthermore, I originally paid $360 for a Penthouse suite, but was moved to a room valued at $266. Given the significant downgrade and the numerous hygiene issues encountered, I am requesting a refund of the $94 price difference. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve your housekeeping and maintenance standards. I look forward to your prompt response regarding the refund.
