Exceptional

It was well kept and the staff was friendly. It felt so muggy and wet. Almost like you couldn’t breathe. I got the worst sleep because of the humid conditions.

Location was fine and the hotel was very clean. I was in town for a concert. When we got back from it at 11:15, we wanted to have a drink. Unfortunately, on a Friday night, we found that the bar was closed. For the amount I was charged for the night, over $600, I expected a little more effort on their part.

Beautiful modern facility located on the lake in central Columbia. And super convenient for a show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. 1/2 mile away, walkable but they run a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the events. Cost was high but I booked last minute.

Our stay was exceptional! Warm welcomes from all of the staff and the clean room made our trip so comfortable. Our keys to our room highlighted the Train concert we were going to as a unique highlight for our girls trip. The only thing that could have been better was outlets near the beds and additional towels that were requested but never arrived. All that being said, we are looking forward to our next concert and stay with Merriweather Lakehouse!

Everything was amazing from the staff to location to food and entertainment.

Beautiful property with an incredibly convenient and free shuttle to the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Parking was free and the restaurant was good. I’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff was excellent as well.

Great hotel if you seeing a concert at the Merriweather Pavilion.

There are no bell men, be ready to dust away cobwebs and make insects.

The hotel was nice but they overbooked for the nights I was there so I was put in a different room type than I booked. There was no advanced notice and the front desk person was pretty terse about the whole thing. I realize it wasn’t his fault but the general tone was not expected. I heard other travelers having a worse time where they were traveling with a family and got a king size bed vs two queens as booked. I wouldn’t stay there again based on this experience.
