Clean and comfortable property. Close to everything. Would stay here again

The room I was in -315 had a smoke alarm or something start chirping at 4 am. I called the desk at 5am. They said they would figure out how to fix it right away. Never heard back. At 6 am went to talk to desk. A woman said there was no maintenance there to check it. We left ASAP

Property was neat and clean my only issue was the mirrors were really dirty. Linen was very clean, beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast was great. Nice variety and attendant kept everything full and fresh. Great value for the price. Nice and quiet. All staff were very friendly and helpful

Waited 10 minutes for check in staff to appear, then she answered the phone while we continued to wit. Door to our room was out of alignment and you had to throw your hip into it to open or close it. It was damaged already from others doing the same. The whole room stunk like an overdose of baby powder.

All good wise choice

The room was okay. Not as clean as I expected based on other reviews. The breakfast was what you would expect. The staff was nice and helpful. Our TV kept saying “no signal”. I tried to get it working and couldn’t. The lady working the front desk that night of our stay actually came to our room and worked on the tv trying to get it working but she also was unsuccessful. She said she had about ten complaints that night of tvs not working so I’m not sure what was going on. I was told I should receive a discount but the next morning I was told by a different staff person that I would have to call a manager to request a discount. Why??? You already know of the documented issue so you should provide the discount automatically. I have to say I was not overly impressed and can’t say that I would ever stay here again…. There are too many other options out there.

Better hotel at a cheaper price.

This hotel does seem to be in some cosmetic distress. My particular room did have a lot of drywall cracks in the walls. Also the bathroom floor was uneven so the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. The bathroom also had a lighted anti fog mirror that wasn’t working. They just put another light above the mirror instead of replacing the mirror. The second floor ice machine was out of order and the first floor ice machine made barely frozen ice. This is my first time staying at a la Quinta and the last. The TV remote would not control the volume at all. There just seems to be a lot of issues they are just letting go for economical reasons.

The front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just ok - nothing special. The room was clean for the most part- the shower could use a little attention. But quiet and overall nice for the price.

Room had a strange smell. Bathroom vent was filthy. Wall above tub spout cracked.

Comfortable room. Pillows not good. Good dining options nearby. Easy on highways north and south.

Cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in a while! I’m a house keeper too, so my expectations are high!

We had to switch rooms twice. The 1st room smelled like dog urine due to the fact that all 1st floor rooms are pet friendly. The unfriendly guy who works nights offered us a can of air freshener. I thought that was gross seeing as how the smell was from urine. The 2nd room had a dirty comforter, the bed pillow had a headprint as if someone already was laying there and had a musty smell. Again. I’m not into ‘covering’ the smell. There shouldn’t be an odor to begin with. We finally convinced us to give us a room on the 2nd floor. It appeared to be cleaner than the first 2 rooms, however we did not enjoy having to deal with knats/fruit flies the entire 3 day stay. The breakfast was not too appetizing as it was the same thing for 3 days. Boxed scrambled eggs that were undercooked and microwave sausage links. Personally, I feel you get what you pay for which is why we’ll never stay at a La Quinta again.

The staff was great. The shower in my room didn’t work right and the bathroom was old and needed a good cleaning. The beds were good, but the pillows sucked.
