Columbus Inn

The room was clean. The walls are paper then and we could hear the tv next door all night. They have a very strong smell in the room. Don’t know if it’s carpet powder or what but it was constant and within a hour we were so stuffed up we couldn’t breathe through our nose. The breakfast was not good. No protein at all. Was very disappointed with this property. Review were very deceiving.

Enjoyed the stay friendly easy check in will be staying next time we are in columbus area

The room i booked had dead roaches and grasshoppers all over the room. The bathroom wall has these questionable stains all over the walls. The refrigerator wasnt even keeping anything cold had the setting on coldest and it was just slightly cold. Really the grasshoppers and roaches is what did it for me. I was terrified to sleep in the bed with large and small insects crawling around. DO NOT book at this Rodeway inn because i brought food over, spilled some shredded cheese on the floor, left to sleep in the car and went to work the next day. When i came back to make sure i didnt forget anything the night after work there was still shedded cheese on the floor. Almost like they dont clean the rooms frequently.

Breakfast was served starting at 5:30 for workers staying at the hotel. That worked great for our long day of driving. We requested bottom floor and even after getting confirmation we had to climb stairs to get to our room. The air conditioning hadn’t been turned on, so it took a long time to cool the room.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff, Very affordable.

Second time I’ve stayed here. It’s nice enough. I travel with my dog and especially appreciate the large outdoor space right outside for him to do his business.

The breakfast was below average, no hot options as advertised. No staff around to manage breakfast. Our remote control for TV did not work. Room felt humid and moist. Towels are paper thin.

Bed was comfy, rainfall shower head was so nice, check-in staff was friendly, nice to have outside side door only accessible with key card, everything worked properly. Didn’t get to try the breakfast. Very quiet even with a busy road nearby. They are having construction on the bridge so, if you’re trying to access the hotel from the north, know that side streets will get you to a back access road. Minor things: Just wished there was a way to fill water bottles without using soft water from the tap, bottled water was out in the vending machine. The room AC wasn’t help with the dampness in the room but don’t know that they had much control over this because the weather was hot and humid.

Great place

Free hot breakfast consists of waffles, cereal options, muffins, and assortment of drink choices. A/c kept us cool over the 4th of July weekend.

The breakfast was uninviting. I looked at it my first day, but didn't eat anything and never looked again.

The breakfast was adequate but simple cold foods. I didn't see any eggs or meat. Since we traveled with our dogs, the host made sure we were down the hall near the exit. Very helpful for us to do our walks. Can't think of anything.

Location was convenient and worked well on our trip. Older hotel that needs upgrading.

The staff at the Columbus Inn were really friendly and helpful. While the room met our needs, it appeared to be in need of some repairs. The toilet paper rack was coming loose from the wall. The hairdryer wouldn't turn on and was in need of cleaning. The TV and A/C worked fine, so we were thankful for those things. Overall, an adequate room with convenient entrance/exits to the parking lot. People were friendly, but our room needed some attention.

Good place to stay Not outstanding but not bad either. Reasonable pet fee. Breakfast was less than average even by motel breakfast standards.

My only issue was road construction that affected the access into the property (spring 2026).

The price was right and it was very clean.

Excellent location, good breakfast, solid rooms for the money. 10/10 would stay again
