Columbus Inn

Free hot breakfast consists of waffles, cereal options, muffins, and assortment of drink choices. A/c kept us cool over the 4th of July weekend.

The breakfast was uninviting. I looked at it my first day, but didn't eat anything and never looked again.

Location was convenient and worked well on our trip. Older hotel that needs upgrading.

The staff at the Columbus Inn were really friendly and helpful. While the room met our needs, it appeared to be in need of some repairs. The toilet paper rack was coming loose from the wall. The hairdryer wouldn't turn on and was in need of cleaning. The TV and A/C worked fine, so we were thankful for those things. Overall, an adequate room with convenient entrance/exits to the parking lot. People were friendly, but our room needed some attention.

Good place to stay Not outstanding but not bad either. Reasonable pet fee. Breakfast was less than average even by motel breakfast standards.

My only issue was road construction that affected the access into the property (spring 2026).

The price was right and it was very clean.

Classic hotel style, looked renovated recently enough in the room, bathroom and AC worked well. I'd stay again if needed.

Quiet, clean and cheap. Three of the biggest things you want when staying at a hotel on the highway. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fast place to spend the night at a good price

The Columbus Inn was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and everything I would look for in a hotel. Although the property is a bit dated, nothing was lacking. Staff was courteous, polite, and helpful. The ice machine looked new. They offered breakfast also. Not the hotel's fault, but with major bridge maintenance directly across the highway, it was impossible to access the entrance from the East. Previously, the two lanes which had been US 30 West went over the bridge which is now closed for reconstruction, forcing me to go about a mile further down US 30 in order to find a way to turn around and approach the entrance coming from the West.

The coffee was 3/4 cup hot water and 1/4 cup brown water (maybe try brewing coffee not instant) Great value breakfast at McDonald's

Clean enough but there were urine and smoke odors in the room and hallway. Quieter part of town.

Mattress too firm... lame breakfast.
