In an area that is being over developed into condos this was a breath of fresh air. The beach is just around the corner and good restaurants a short walk away. The room was bright and spotless. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It used to be called the Nantasket hotel so that was what our GPS listed it as so do not confuse it with the Nantasket resort further down the beachfront. Use the street address to search. We also liked that there were two exits from the room with is unusual. A very comfortable place. The bathroom was very small so there wasn't much room for bathroom items to be left in there. I love a tub but there was a shower. It was very clean.

I had two dinners. Both were excellent. Bars are welcoming and interesting. Little things -- one lamp didn't work, AC was temperamental, door kept sticking. But these are all very minor. Of more concern, the side mirror of my rental car got dinged in the parking lot. I didn't notice it at first. I had to pay $98. Some of the parking spaces are just too narrow.

The architecture with history Nothing special. It is a little noisy outside due to construction.
-
Great staff, excellent food and location near historic sites.
-
We liked the comfortable bed, the great restaurant attached to it, and the incredible location The bed was very comfortable but slightly small, the air-conditioning was loud and took a little getting used to. The room itself was a bit on the small side
-
Great by location- they were VERY accomadatimg, we needed an extra hour for a meeting before checking out! It was all great.

The location was excellent. The in house tavern was excellent. The rooms were spacious and of good quality. Breakfast was not available in the hotel.
-
Too bad they no longer serve breakfast at the Inn. Even a continental breakfast would be better than nothing.
-
The breakfast was delicious and the free coffee was outstanding first thing in the morning. Also, the bartender Sabus was an excellent hire! He made great drinks and has a friendly personality. The air conditioner was loud and the toilet was not totally secured to the floor. Both issues were reported to the front desk clerk. I requested housekeeping services upon check-in and they were not done Sunday but were immediately taken care of upon complaining.
-
Perfect historic inn right in the center of town Only complaint would be the bed is too firm but that’s it
-
Loved colonial period room. All good
-
Quiet, historic and beautiful! The staff and locals couldn’t have been nicer.
-
Only issue - broken ice machine on 3rd floor and I wish the restaurant stayed open later on a Sunday night.

We did not use the shower 1/4 tub thing. It would be good for a small child

It was fine for an old inn, but the room was more like a budget motel. Our room was very humid, and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location couldn't be better.

Room was tiny. No place to store clothes. Food terrific.
