Edgewater Inn and Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The hotel itself was fine. The problem was that there was a door connecting our room with the room next door, that had very poor insulation. We could hear their entire conversations. They were drinking and stayed up very late and their voices and TV were very loud . We had trouble sleeping.

It was a nice clean property. Would stay again.

Although the outside is old, the inside is totally remodeled in clean.

I would stay here again without question! Staff was great. The property is nice, in good shape, and very clean.

CABLE IN ROOM WAS TERRIBLE. HAD TO SOMEONE TO COME AND GET CABLE TO WORK AND HAD TO GET UP AND POINT REMOTE BEHIND TV TO GET CABLE BOX TO WORK AND CHANGE CHANNELS.

Based on previous ratings I expected more, but it wasn't the case. Place was outdated and could use more cleaning. Ice Maker only one and far from our room. Had to use stairs to room. Never found an elevator. Room had a smell as if it was old and could use a deep clean. Carpets need to be replaced as they felt like you had to wear shoes all the time.

Big clean rooms, close to town. Tons of parking

1) The AC wall unit kept going into a default error message that did not keep the room cool so I had to wake up several times a night to turn it back on, and when I asked the maintenance, he said just to unplug it and plug it back in which helped only 50% of the time. 2) The front desk staff needs to be better trained to answer the guest questions, but when the manager showed up, she helped with my request and question.

A glitch on check in caused a duplicate pending charge on my credit card. Ultimately fixed. Employees were helpful and very pleasant.

But older travelers (like me) beware: there is no elevator. We had to lug our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. There was no offer to help from the staff. Also, the pool was nice but no hot tub. And no breakfast. It was pricey for what you get.

Unfortunately my daughter got flea bites from the bed, the shower was full of other folks hair and it was just generally not clean. The front desk check in fella was lovely though, and it is literally in the Safeway parking lot, so food close by was nice.

We weren’t expecting much judging how it looks from the outside and the location. Surprised by how clean and spacious the room was. Was perfect for a one night stay on the way through town. Not really walkable to downtown area, but downtown ain’t great anyway.

$$$ for not including breakfast. EXTREMELY THIN WALLS- could hear the guy next door snoring the entire night. No microwave in the room- just a hole where it used to be.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids loved the pool. My biggest rave, though, is Natalie. Natalie was working the front desk and I can't praise her highly enough! She was attentive, helpful, friendly, and just the sweetest young lady that I've had the pleasure of checking in with and talking to, and I've stayed at many hotels. If there was a guaranteed Natalie at every hotel that I booked, I would pay extra to stay there. She is just wonderful!

Property is clean and comfortable. Location is convenient to supermarkets. Scenic view of river.

Great staff. Nice clean room. Bigger TVs than normal. Great 24 hour coffee service in the lobby

Terrible location, front desk not helpful at all. The room was next to the hotel laundry and the employees blocked the hall with clean and dirty laundry all day. They sat in the parking lot and smoked on the curb. It’s old and needs a remodel or tear down. Definitely a MOTEL. Homeless on the corner and the so called RV park next to it is a long term park just as bad as the motel.
