Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

The room was OK. The TV could’ve been a little bigger. We didn’t get any room service during our three day stay not sure if we needed to go down and ask for service or how that worked but other than that it was a all right stay very cost efficient.

Carpets are old and stained

The room that we were provided, was not pre-checked if it was fit to be assigned. Several amenities were broken or not working, which we had to get fixed by contacting the front desk late at night.

Pictures of the hotel told a different story than we encountered, the place has seen better days. We paid extra for breakfast thinking it was a true meal in the dining room, instead got cereal or make -your-own waffle that we ate with a spoon as there were no forks. Not the Red Lion experience we expected, price should have been half of what we paid.

The Red Lion Hotel in Coos Bay used to be a decent motel, and it has ample parking for vehicles with trailers. Unfortunately, it has become run-down. The toilet in our room didn't work. We were transferred to another room, and the toilet in that room barely worked, and the sink's stopper was broken and stuck closed. Overall, the motel was in poor condition considering the cost of the rooms.

The shower was amazing!!! Room duper clean. Bed was ok and the staff was friendly. Nice place to stay for the night.

Parking and staff was the best part of 9ur stay. Our room had no A/C the front desk gave us a fan. I went to get in shower only to notice a used towel,wash cloth and stepping matt was wet and hanging onside of tub. Cleaned shower myself to only turn down one of the beds to dirty sheet and pillow case. By this time we were exhausted laid in one bed and slept ontop of all covers. Considering the cost for 1 night I wouldn't recommend this place.

The room was clean but old. Rug needs replacement and it’s a little musty. BUT we had our dog, no problem with that and the room was really large.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Crack in sink Not the greatest mattress. Hot tub not open, even though I called to verify it was working. Breakfast... I Was told there would be bisquits and gravy. NOPE Towels were see thru thin. Really bad. Slime running down the inside of the door. No idea what it was. But great water pressure for sink and shower. Not sure I would stay here again.

The location was ok It is past its prime. General state of uncleanliness and deferred maintenance.

No coffee maker in room. Room smelled old and musky. Coffee at breakfast was cold. Microwave dirty

Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. No place to hang up clothes. Blankets too short. Very small tub. Poor lighting.

The room needs repair. It is falling apart. Lights missing, the fan sounds like the it’s about to explode. Cracks in the ceiling.

Clean rooms

The interior and the carpet was outdated along with the ac, for a place to lay the head down for a night it wasn’t bad but reminded me of a motel 6

The A/C barely worked and all we could smell was the sewage treatment plant.

Was ok. Found 2 large spiders and a black widow in the bathroom upon entering. Curtain length interfered with a/c air blowing effectively in the room. Shower head was amazing!

Hotel was very outdated. Carpet had urine smells in the first rrom but staff moved us to an upgrade. The carpet is so dated that it smells. I would not recommend staying here
