Move rooms as we didn’t feel safe and we got an “upgrade” a room with a marina view to a grass area with other balconies is not an upgrade. In the morning when we went to order a cart up to our room they could not find me in the system even with my reservation number so we had to take all our luggage down to check out and they have an endless hall so not really easy to manage all of our luggage! Claim to be dog friendly but then hotel staff member we asked could not recommend a good place for me to take my dog out. Had to figure that out on my own. Was just such an incredibly disappointing and strange experience for a luxury hotel!

Great location and very thoughtful staff.

That was only the beginning. Over the course of our stay, I went to the front desk four separate times to complain about that same piece of food still sitting on our floor. One of those times, the front desk manager looked me in the eye and personally promised it would be cleaned right away. It was not. It took four complaints and until Saturday night, just one night before we checked out Sunday, for anyone to finally clean it. This is not an oversight, it is a pattern of your staff not doing their job and telling guests what they want to hear to make them go away. On top of that, my teenage daughter stained the bedsheets one night, and when we returned from being out all day, the sheets had not been changed, meaning our room went uncleaned entirely that day. And it did not stop there. On our final day, we left used cups and drinks on the balcony table before heading out. We came back that evening to find the room had not been serviced at all, despite a full day for housekeeping

we got the experience the King Suite with a Sofa Bed. It was the perfect place to accommodate my small family (wife and 2 small kids) + my elderly parents. Everything was very clean, maintained and smells fresh. Hotel views and amenities are breathtaking. They have activities that occur throughout the resort that are family oriented such as Movie night by the pool and free ice cream on certain days of the week. definitely recommend staying here if you want to get away from Downtown

We recently stayed at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and overall had a great experience. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has excellent amenities, especially for families. The pools, grounds, and overall atmosphere made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. If I had one area for improvement, it would be the guest rooms. The rooms with two full-size beds feel a bit small for a family of four. Queen-size beds would make a significant difference in comfort, particularly when traveling with older children. The only other drawback was our room location. Both our family and another family traveling with children were assigned to the fifth building, which is quite a long walk from the lobby and many of the main amenities. I’m not sure if this is intentional to keep families with children farther from the main areas, but if so, it would be nice to balance that with convenience. The walk became noticeable after a long day or when carrying pool gear and luggage. Overall, the resort is gorgeous, the facilities are outstanding, and we would absolutely consider staying again.

they also have a free tram that will take you to the old Coronado. Only a few minutes away.

Thank you

Mosquitoes were really hungry at this time of the year, take. Mosquito repellent with you. also the main restaurant was very busy on Sunday and seems like they were understaffed. Everything else was great!

Our stay was wonderful for the most part. It’s in a secluded location that’s perfect for relaxing but the shuttle was convenient for transportation to other destinations.

Excelent highly recommend!

They room was nice. The restroom was huge but the shower was super tiny like being in an RV shower. They should have removed the tub and made the shower alot bigger.

The Hotel is beautiful especially nestled by the bay and the beach. A lot of beautiful views. I would have rated 5 ☆ if the valet service was always manned and on time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Understanding that there was a shortage of rooms… Our room had a very strong odor… Almost like per urine… and we try to tough it out… But had a headache after half an hour… when we asked for another room, the initial answer was that there was none and after a little bit more complaining, there were two other options… One of which was a lesser view and farther from our original room but acceptable. Asking for any amenities, including just basic water was difficult and had to be repeated three times and the nature walk was somewhat of a disaster since no one needs to seem to know where they start and end and we essentially had to walk back. They did Comp for some of the food but the whole experience was a struggle and frankly disappointing. Not to be too particular, I mean, even the toilet paper was kind of less than a public bathroom quality. The place in the location and the front desk staff are outstanding… It’s a shame that the rest of the resort doesn’t live up to it… I appreciate them trying to remedy it at the end, but when the qualitative issues are enough to ruin the entire trip and keep you up for an extra two hours… Then major gestures are necessary. I literally had to bring the manager into the room that had the odor to get any kind of action… and in all fairness he was very kind… but the trip has a whole was damaged…

Super friendly staff. Felt welcomed since check-in to check-out.

We had some miscommunication with the front desk about where the downtown shuttle stops. For anyone wondering, it stops next to the tennis courts, by the white beach chairs at the crosswalk. Our biggest issue was the hotel room door, which made a loud howling noise unless we kept the balcony door open. The front desk sent someone to check it and told us maintenance would come at 10 a.m. They arrived at 1 p.m. while we were napping, so I asked them to return around 4–5 p.m. when we would be out, but they never came back. Keeping the balcony door open meant hearing seagulls, passing vehicles, boats with radios, and other outside noise, making it nearly impossible to rest day or night. Our iron was also broken and was replaced immediately, but the replacement snagged and damaged clothing. Overall, the location is great, the cleaning team is excellent, and the amenities are nice. Unfortunately, getting proper rest was nearly impossible, which was disappointing for a four-star hotel.

Location was great !

It’s a fantastic stay. I took my kids for their birthdays and they barely wanted to leave the resort. The pool is excellent and the perfect temperature for staying in all day. The food? 10/10. Margaritas? 12/10. Excellent customer service and their tram truly understands and delivers on exemplary experiences. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
