Very clean, staff was very helpful! Pool was closed due to someone slipping and getting hurt right before we got there. ( Not the hotels fault.)

The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. Only one of the two elevators worked. There were lots of people staying at the hotel and one would have to wait quite awhile for the elevator. We arrived one hour before check- in and were told our room couldn’t be promised to be ready at the 3 P.M. check- in time because having had a full house the night before and there were lots of rooms to clean. I said that I had to be at a wedding in town at 4 P.M. Our room was ready at 3 P.M. Our fire alarm in our room sounded this morning. The hotel employee told my partner that it was because another guest ran the hot water in the shower too long, setting off the detector.

As for the housekeeping, a small placard in the bathroom says housekeeping services are offered every other day, which I find a bit stingy- leftover from Covid most likely. If you need your room tended to for basics like trash/towels then you need to notify them by 8am. Seems at odds with most other hotel procedures, and definitely created a bit of a nuisance.

Very clean room! And comfortable! Newer hotel can't be but a few years old. Great staff! Too many restaurants in area to list. Also you have to try rainbow cone! A Great Chicago Tradition. Also very pet friendly!

Such a welcoming hotel to arrive at after a long day pedaling. The service is great and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is typical for a continental style. Restaurants are a short walk away although it would be nice if they put in a bridge since there are no sidewalks. I'd definitely stay here again.
