Towneplace Suites By Marriott Crown Point

Location was perfect. Breakfast was pretty good.

I wish they built the shower better. Water gets out everywhere. Wasn’t a smart builder but overall very clean and helpful staff

Pleasant stay.

The bathrooms could use more hooks to hang stuff.The living room could use more lighting.The side entrances could use a handicap ramp cut into the curb somewhere.The room door deadbolt flap kept triggering without warning.

This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital...

Had real bad weather with tornado warnings, and sirens going off and there was no safety plan from staff. Was told we would go to staff laundry room but they did not unlock it and when asked about it we were told not to worry it only gets windy and there’s never a tornado since she lived there. Tv in lobby was on but went off and they never put back on for us to follow weather. Lack of emergency management training. Just so happens tornado hit Merrillville that night, too close for comfort. We did not feel safe.

Breakfast was very good - lots of options. Loved the egg white & kale frittata (never thought I would say that!) Bed was comfortable and room was great and well designed with lots of shelving, lighting & furniture. Pillows were way too soft and we only got maid service every 3 times and we were there for a week. Had to ask the front desk for more towels & toilet paper a few times.

Clean room.

It was only 1 year old. Very nice. Clean, bright and comfortable.

The lobby and hotel itself on the inside is very beautiful and definitely gives a luxury feel (I expect nothing less from a Marriott hotel). One bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable and was very modern! The front desk staff were also very friendly. Breakfast was not very good and there was no real variety. My boyfriend and I had to go elsewhere for breakfast which definitely sucked considering how much it costed for the room.

Staffs are friendly & helpful. Excellent service, place nice & clean. I staying 10days.. what I don’t like is Breakfast, not much option choices. Food mostly repeats every other day.

Shower would never get hot even when turned all the way up. And at 530a.m there was a fire alarm and the hitel fought to give a refund that i still have not seen 15 days later

Downsides, the coffee shop next door makes it REALLY had to get in and out of the parking lot during the day. Police are having to direct traffic. Also, showers spray water everywhere.

Very clean, great breakfast, very quiet. The pool was very nice and the staff were friendly and had great customer service! Will be visiting again.

Always a pleasure! Next time though, I will go back to the double suite. I felt quite confined in the King - that's on me though. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and accommodating - I am addicted to the coffee!!
