La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Cypress

Our first room was DISGUSTING!!! Floor was gross, but then I pulled back the sheets and there was an actual poop stain (as well as other stains) that I took a picture of!!! I was absolutely disgusted and almost left right then. The 2nd room was fine, but then I couldn’t sleep thinking about how horrible the first room was. I just wanted my kids to get some sleep. We got out of there as fast as possible the next morning. Didn’t even eat breakfast. The staff member that night we came was subpar at best. We arrived at 9:30 with 2 tired kids and no one to be found but a sign. It said to call a number if no one was there, so after waiting for 10 minutes, I started calling. It wasn’t until at least the 5th time that someone finally answered and then appeared shortly after hanging up on me. She seemed extremely bothered that we were even there. Did not greet us and just was not friendly. Then as mentioned above, she put us in horror story room that made me want to vomit! At which point, I had to haul my 2 very tired kids back downstairs with our stuff to get a new room. The girl was apologetic, but still seems annoyed with us… it’s not my fault you put us in a FILTHY room! The guy the morning we left seemed nicer and was very apologetic and appalled to hear about our experience the 2 min we interacted. Couldn’t wait to get out of there! Never will stay again!

We stayed at this hotel because we were there for a baseball tournament to see our grandson. I was pleased because we were on the first floor. As older people the first floor is the best for us. Beds were good. Air conditioner worked good! Breakfast was your usual hotel breakfast food. Waffles, muffins, cereal, etc. I would say this is a good place to stay!

Very clean! The staff was very friendly and plenty of towels in the room.

I’ve stayed here twice in a two week span. Both times my experience was the same. It was even the same guy at the front desk. There’s nothing fancy about this hotel. It’s clean which is the most important to me. The rooms are basic, but clean as I mentioned. The free breakfast is a nice perk. No complaints there. The only slight is that there’s no bar. There’s an area for it which makes me think it might have been one at one time but not anymore.

Enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was awesome. Rooms were clean. Everyone was super nice.

Found a used piece of soap in my drying towel when I went to use the towel after getting out of the shower! Told the front desk attendant who was on duty. She dismissed my concern. Told me to come get another towel from the front desk, she was mopping

The room was completely clean and comfortable. We were received with a warm welcome and during breakfast the staff was friendly and attentive. All was very clean and pleasant. One of our best stays in Houston.
