Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Market Center

Check in faced complications as well as check out. Friday Morning I was awakened by the building fire alarm around 3:00-4:00 in the morning because of someone smoking in a room. Everything could have been a touch better.

Keep in mind of you book through here, there is no recognition of any Hilton Hhonors status. $50 extra to check in prior to 2:00 PM (even though rooms are ready), no snacks or water, no points, no credit for the nights stayed.

Due to issues with check in, i was waiting 1 hour before i got into my room. Very inconvenient.

This hotel was nice however, the couches, chairs and floors needed cleaning.

The AC unit in 601 would not lower, the AC unit in the room rattled all night long (I could not sleep with the noise), the attendant said he was going to move me or bring me a fan...he never did either. The water in the shower ran forever before it got hot (waste of running water). Other than that, it was an ok stay.

The stay was great. However, when I checked in I was informed that what you use"BookMyRoom.com" denied a credit card for the direct bill. I used my All Pro AMEX initially but at check out they said "BookMyRoom.com" was taking the charge. I will inform if this charge hit my AMEX for reconcile.

The rooms were nice, but I am at a loss with why the rate was not locked in if I made a reservation.

Breakfast was great and the hotel was nice and clean. I do wish they did room cleaning automatically more frequently, as I forgot to request it through the front desk.

I never registered a vehicle with them but was charged for parking $10.00 each day. I asked for a refresh of my room and was only given new towels, no cleaning was done.

Clean room, comfortable, easy to check in and out.

It was OK. There was a broken area near the sink in the bathroom that kept falling on my toe. They didn’t have it properly secure. There were some mold on the wall. But we got ice in and I had to stay. Overall, the staff was very nice. The food was very good. It turned out to be a pleasant experience.

Some staff were not very skilled in customer service. I was told noon was a late check out when it is the regular check out. My room did not have shampoo and I was ordered to come to the front desk to get it. The bed was very hard and the bedding was thin.

I’ve had to pay a daily vehicle parking fee, let alone a $10/day per vehicle fee. There was also no mention of the fee on the listing. Will not not be returning to this hotel.
