Hotel was centrally located to my needs and easy to get around to find MVF.

Staff was super sweet after the concert!!

A nice, atrium style hotel. No free breakfast. The Hilton chain software, by which the hotel is operates, was down when I arrived. The check-in line was perhaps 20 deep. That staff did an amazing job of keeping everyone in good humor and moving things as efficiently as possible, but still, it was slow and frustrating. I was late for the first event on my schedule.

Good for an overnight stay, weird there was NO microwave.

Over all I would not recommend this location.

I feel the property was fairly nice and very convenient to downtown Davenport bars, clubs and theaters. Would we stay there again? Probably not as it was very noisy with street racing on streets that pass by The Double Tree as well as our initial assigned room was in very poor condition. (We were moved, to a perfectly nice room, but apparently on the racing side of the property. I don't doubt that this sort of late night shenanigans would be fine with many guests, especially if they stay out very late and have a "lets party", attitude. My experience with Doubletree goes back decades, and I believe the brand still stands for a quality experience. Perhaps our experience was a one off, but I may never know that. Lastly, after speaking with a Manager in the days following our stay, I am hopeful that how our needs were not met will not be the norm going forward. I have tried to be constructive, accurate and helpful in this review.

The kitchen had the blowers off so the atrium smelled like fried food

The parking situation at the hotel was horrible. When we arrived, the hotel parking lot was full as they have a small lot. We were advised of a parking garage that had a sky walk to the hotel. This was fine with us, however, the door was locked for over a day with no way to access the skywalk. When we contacted hotel staff about this issue, we were told that there was nothing they could do about this issue. This made accessibility to the hotel difficult and frustrating. Would not stay here again.

Great stay other than when the fire alarm went off around midnight! False alarm but kind of crazy! It worked well and definitely woke us up to get down outside for the drill!

Beautiful building, starting to show signs of disrepair. Low water pressure shower, dings in paint and dirt in corners. Beds were comfortable, Room generally clean, staff friendly. There is a charge for everything from coffee, water in the room, breakfast, parking. All in all a good place to stay.

The staff was helpful. The room was clean and spacious for our 3 guests. The bathroom was very small. Parking in the lot at knight was a tight fit. Our window on the 3rd floor opened with no screen or guard. We felt that would be unsafe for kids.
