Holiday Inn Rock Island by IHG

Everything at the hotel was great! The staff were incredibly helpful. It was in a great location so we could get to the fairgrounds very easily. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were so helpful and so courteous! If I am in that area again, I will definitely stay there!

Nice, staff very accommodating, and the food was excellent. I just cannot say enough. Friendly staff, very clean, large menu, so reasonably priced, and delicious! What a treat!

The pool was terrible. Cloudy green water developing algae. Pool smell ( not chlorine as chlorine does not have a scent). Needs chlorine. The whole reason we picked a hotel was for a pool and it needs attention. Location was good and the noon check out time was a plus for us. There was a workout room available. Breakfast arrangements were confusing only pays for 2 people.

The room was clean and comfortable. We could hear people in the hallway and other hotel room doors opening and shutting. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. I can't say I'd recommend the restaurant attached the hotel; the service was awful and food was only okay.

Rooms definitely need an upgrade and the parking is not great. You either park in a teeny lot attached (which is open to the public as well and located across from the bar) or across the street in public parking. The lot attached was full and there were several people from the bars in their cars so it was a little annoying.

Close to baseball stadium

Great location. Short walks to lots of nice restaurants and interesting places.

A very nice and reasonably priced hotel. I especially enjoyed the pool and attached restaurant. And free parking is always nice. Because it was the halfway point of my travels, I stayed here twice. Once out and again on my way back home. And I'll happily stay there again.

Wonderful staff, clean room

When we checked in initially we got a room that had a broken TV & there was quite a bit of damage on the furniture in the room. We asked the front desk to switch us to a different room & they quickly did & our stay was fine after that. The other guests in the hotel were loud & rowdy, even at night, but I don’t think that could have been helped due to all the events being held there. Don’t think it was quite worth the price but good enough for what it was for.

The smoke alarm went off three times in the middle of the night just in our room. No it wasn't the batteries. They moved us after the second time, but nee still heard it again well moving out. We heard it again around 9:30 when we were getting ready to leave. The manager was nice enough to refund our payment, even though the clerks told us it wasn't possible.
