The Vintages Trailer Resort

Super adorable trailers. Very clean. Friendly staff and community. The vintage style bikes were a bonus to ride around in on the property. Had so much fun we booked for another weekend in a few weeks.

Staying in a vintage trailer was an amazing and unique experience. The trailer was exceptionally well maintained, everything worked perfectly, and it was incredibly cosy. It truly felt like stepping back in time. A wonderful bonus was the complimentary wine tasting passport, which allowed us to visit several wineries and sample excellent local wines. Sokol Blosser Winery stood out with exceptional wines and outstanding service. We also enjoyed walking around the different vintage trailers—each one was unique and interesting. The shared showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. It was disappointing that the pool was closed for maintenance on short notice. We were also unable to use the outdoor fireplace because minors were not permitted, which was unfortunate for our family.

It was a great experience. Highly recommended.

The property was delightful. It was clean and full of beautiful and trees. Staff was friendly and at night the trees were wrapped in lights that it made it feel like a fairy tale.

Not what was expected

This was such a fun camping experience for this city-dweller. The trailer was so sweet and cozy. The entire property was very clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. Staff were friendly, check-in/check-out was a breeze. I appreciate the private bathroom in the trailer, but it was very small with not much privacy, as would be expected. I would suggest that you be comfortable with your travel buddy if you are sharing one of the smaller trailers. :) There are not many restaurants or supermarkets in the immediate area, but the trailer was equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, an outdoor grill, and the cutest little "vintage" microwave, so it would be easy to prep a simple meal on your own.

It was very clean and easy access. Our water wasn’t turned on to our trailer the first night. We didn’t get back to the trailer until 10 pm and just went to bed

We’ve been to The Vintages before and both time have enjoyed the experience. The rental fee is a little steep and the added cleaning deposit almost had us turning around and leaving, but we stayed and we’re glad we did. Cleaning deposit is quite steep.

Very fun experience staying in a trailer made in 1947! Trailer was very charming and the bed was really comfortable. Loved the extra amenities like the provided robes and the coffee service. Everything inside was very clean and plenty of towels were provided. Location was really convenient and very close to Dundee and downtown Dayton. Overall, we really liked staying here and we'll stay here again. Bathroom facilities are from circa 1947 (not the actual fixtures, but the layout). The shower and toilet were in one cubicle. The toilet was like every other RV toilet with a foot pump. It worked completely fine. We didn't actually use the shower in the trailer; not that we couldn't have as it was completely functional. The facility has a separate building with nice showers and toilets. The only issue is we would have had to walk to them; also not a big deal but we decided we could live without showers until we got home again. It was a rainy, cold weekend when we stayed and it took a bit for the inside of the trailer to get comfortable.
