DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Decatur Riverfront

The best breakfast in the city. They have Supreme Grits. These are the best grits a person can eat. The cossants were delicious. The were soft, fluffy, and very tasty. The parking area needed constant attention due the arrival traffic. Overall, this is a great place stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

Our room service tray stayed outside our room from 6pm to 11 am the next morning. The bathrooms could have been much cleaner.

Breakfast was absurd rotten fruit The pool area was littered with trash and glass outside . The jacuzzi was closed they were in the middle of renovating the hotel painting next door and the smell was terrible. Eric the bartender from the lounge downstairs the twist was absolutely rude and obnoxious, staring at me from across the room several times. The only person at the front desk that was friendly was Regan the other blonde older lady told me she couldn’t bring a plunger when the toilet malfunctioned and that I would have to wait for Maintenance. 1/10!

The room was clean and well maintained. They had shampoo, conditioner, and bidy wash in refillable botles on the shower wall which was very convenientThe staff was great. The only complaint I had was that I requested more towels via the text message service. They responded saying they would bring them but they never came. Had I gone to the desk, I probably would have gotten them. Otherwise, my stay was great!

Our AC leaked and the room smelled moldy

The breakfast was good. The room was good. I loved the barn style door for the bathroom. The location was great (room and hotel). Our room opened up to the area where all our activities were. We were just minutes away from downtown and many interesting places to see and go eat. The hotel itself had a unique layout. Loved the barn style door for the bathroom BUT it left the privacy lacking as it did not shut all the way-there was a gap between the door and the wall. That's all :)

Very friendly & helpful staff. LoBathroom had just been remodeled. Nice view of the river. Free parking.

The staff was awesome The AC made a lot of noise and was leaking water so half carpet in the room was damp after a few hours. We informed the staff and they placed a fan to dry the carpet

Cleanliness There was a conference there during our stay and it seemed that they were more important than me. The restaurant on site, that we were really looking forward to, was closed the night that we had planned on eating there. We were told that the staff and kitchen was busy catering the conference, and would not be open. Really disappointed. Someone's kids were running around the hall at all hours knocking on our door, and then running off. The doors to the room were really hard to open, and the spring back almost knocked me down one time.

Very good and friendly staff. All were very helpful.

Great place, I was here on a business trip. Staff is super. There is no hot tub, wish there was. Lean room. Everything was fine.

Property was very clean, front desk was very helpful checking me in early Via phone call and answering questions about things in the area and finding amenities in the hotel. Would stay here again if in the area. Back area of the hotel had river front views and we saw hot air balloons going over the river in the morning, boats, and people running.

The room was small but adequate. Bathroom vey small. Rug on floor not vacuumed. Beds were good. Restaurant was great. Lots of variety on breakfast buffet. We also ate dinner here on two nights during our stay. Delicious entrees. Service was great. Free parking. Visiting family member in hospital, which was only a few minutes away.
