Candlewood Suites Dothan by IHG

We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Candlewood Suites in Dothan, Alabama. The hotel was very clean, and our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their excellent customer service made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Dothan area.

Super clean and comfortable suite we stayed in with our 2 dogs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will be looking for a Candlewood IHG everytime now!

Great place!

Found some earwigs in the bathroom the first day, made our stay a bit uncomfortable. We stayed for 4 days and when we asked for room service and they said no. I rather stay at the Marriott across the street.

There were not enough towels in the bathroom. The only interactions we had with the staff were to get checked in, which as I already mentioned, took way too long. And lastly, as we were leaving the next morning, we heard two of the staff arguing with each other talking about someone’s “attitude”… this all took place in the main lobby while there were several other guests witnessing the incident, as well as another member of the staff behind the desk. Finally, one of them ended the conversation by saying “I hate this f*ing job”… I have stayed at many hotels, and I have certainly had worse experiences as it relates to the condition of the room, but never a worse experience as it relates to the staff and their level of professionalism or lack there of. I will never stay here again.

The Hotel was very clean , very accessible , the room was very nice , we loved the layout of everything, the only thing missing was a pool, we didn’t need but if you have kids it would be a plus

Also there is plenty of cabinet and drawer space.

The property was also very dirty upon arrival. Common areas and guest spaces did not appear to be properly cleaned or maintained, which was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

The rooms out front facing the streets are extremely noisy.

Super nice and new place. Nice little kitchenette. Brew your own fresh coffee in the lobby 24/7. Dothan is a good stop before heading to the beach.

Love the room

Bathroom was not clean. Shower had a used bar of soap in it in addition to being dirty in general. Bathroom sink and countertop were also not clean.

Amazing stay from beginning to end! The customer service was excellent and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and I was really impressed with how clean the entire hotel was — from the elevators to the hallways. The free coffee was a great bonus, and I also loved the convenience of the items for sale downstairs. Everything felt comfortable, clean, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!
