Holiday Inn Express Dothan North by IHG

When we arrived, the elevator had a sign that said limit your trips to 4 people. It was a little sketchy. Then we went to the room. We walked in- there were no sheets on one bed. Trash everywhere, plungers in the sink in the toilet. Tv was on. I immediately went back to the front desk and she said oh. I thought it was ready. She put us in another room. When we got to that room, the door wasn’t shut. We walked right in, so I was a little apprehensive. The door wouldn’t shut unless you push it closed to hear a click. Room was kinda clean. I would not stay here again.

Not much worked. Mirror in bathroom had bulby, stained bedding and dingy towels, washing machine didn't work, etc.

Very good

Nothing. No ac booked through booking and having a hard time getting a refund

When I arrived, no one was at the front desk to check me in and I had to wait 10 minutes. We arrived at night and the elevator had 5 light bulbs not working so very dark in the elevator. The TV had limited channels available. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

for this to be one of the more expensive stays in Dothan it’s not great

Everything was wonderful..

Staff was very friendly. When we had a problem with the tv, they were quick to address and fix it.

My room door. You had to slam close. It doesn't close easily. And the breakfast was cold. And the pool was closed

Lady at the desk was great! Unfortunately, they didn't have enough clean towels for the amount of visitors who checked in that weekend. Loved that they offered a vareity of breakfast options.

Exceptional

The bathrooms in the room need fixings with people that know what they are doing . Less caulk and not mold in caulk .

The food was dry and bland. I had to check out early due to a family emergency and inquired on a refund. Never heard back. So I have to follow up again.

Desk clerk was pleasant Dirty, roaches on tables in eating area at night, food all over chairs , beds extremely uncomfortable, huge spider and bugs in bathroom

I had several issues that I did report. They were not handled prior to me leaving. Room and front lobby were both dirty. Just not a good stay. Breakfast attendants could be heard cursing in the back and the breakfast was subpar.

Exceptional

Exceptional

Clean property and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff

My biggest issue is that Holiday Inn Express has a policy that they put a 25.00 charge on your credi when you check in. This charge is to cover any incidental's that you may have. In 40 years of staying in hotel's I have never had an incidental charge. Of course the charge is immediately visible on your credit card but takes serveral days to be reversed. Holiday Inn Express is able to use 10's of thousands of dollars daily while you have to wait for the charge to be reversed.

There was no coffee maker in the room, the bathroom was large but needed some love around the tub and floor. Staff were very nice. Area was safe and maintained.
