La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin

The pancake machine was down so i wasn't able to to find something i wanted.

We have stayed at this location three times this year while visiting relatives. In the past everything was great. Clean, friendly, and close to what we needed. Our stay this time was comfortable, however we had to report that things needed attention in our bathroom. Broken shower curtain rod, screws coming out of shower spicket, and toilet was like sitting on a rocking chair. We had to stay on first floor because elevator had been broken for several days. Just past the elevator there was evidence of mold through out hallway on flooring and in ceiling tiles. Staff was very friendly checking in and out.

At check-in there was a dead roach in our room. Also there was some brown substance look like it could have been coffee wasted by the side table by the bed. The tub had peeling paint. The elevator were not working, and the hallways were hot. There was no compensation for any of these problems.

I did like the location, close to the ball field. Breakfast staff was great. My sheets were wet, and when I called down to get more seemed like i was a burden. Shower was NOT clean, and crumbs all on carpet.

Door lock latch broke on door , went and let staff know and she had the audacity to ask me what was wrong with it 5 min after checking in. KIDS RUNNING THRU THE HOTEL. The room was clean but had a mildew odor.The room was nice and clean but, tub area looked stained with build up, very outdated. Shower knob bout to fall off. Hot water was backwards. They definitely need to service the rooms before they want people to spend 200 a night.

The room was clean. Access had an issue with the elevator but they were working on it. The ONLY issue we had was the shower faucet needed repair.

The bed was comfy and the bathtub and linens were clean. The front desk staff was nice and pleasant.

Clean room comfortable bed. Very good breakfast . The only thing I can complain about is the soap and shampoo that is provided did not like it at all.

Our check in was simple. The clerk was friendly and efficient. The walk in shower was great but some concern as the shower drain was open. The toiletries provided were nice. The towels were nice and thick. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The wall thermostat did not work, but we were able to adjust the room temperature on the unit itself. The WIFI worked well. Our room included a small sofa/folding bed which was comfortable for sitting. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast fare and was adequate for our needs. We have stayed here before and will again when in this area. Our room could (#116) could use a little TLC. The shower drain needs repair. The wall thermostat did not work. The wall had been cut out for repair and needs to be patched and painted. We feel that the price was high for what we got, but it seems that the nicer hotels in the area are all overpriced.

Staff was nice and informative Not that didn't like realizing it was an older place needed cosmetic changes

Location was convenient Bathroom walls was cracked, multiple strands of hair in my bed, mold on the tub, bathroom door was peeling paint and pillowcase was stained. This was supposed to to be a remodeled room but $212 I expected better!!!??
