Best Western DuBois Hotel

Do NOT stay here! Staff was rude and very unprofessional.

Room was a decent size but the “4th & 5th” floor are in an adjacent building with no elevator. Quiet area with plenty of parking space. Bathroom sink had a very slow drain. Restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

Everything went okay.

Cleanliness of bedsheets and help of frontdesk to give clear directions to the room.

Clean convenient and friendly. Only downfall: Warning. Three floors. Property has no elevator.

Super clean room and breakfast room. The fitness center was closed for repair work. Disappointing for a $150 hotel room in the middle of rural Pennsylvania.

The bad: incredibly short-staffed. 15 minutes after the check-in window opened, we arrived to find no one at the front desk and called the provided cell number for assistance only to find that the voicemail for that number had not been set up. We did get checked in eventually and when we got to our room, it was still being cleaned. No elevators in either building. No air conditioners in the hallway so there was a box fan propped up by one of the windows. The fridge in the room had food in it and was warm. Light in bathroom not working. Maintenance addressed both issues. Towels didn’t match, no bath mat. Bathroom ceiling was nasty. Key cards didn’t work the second day. “Rare breakfast buffet” = standard bread offering, sausage and powdered eggs, waffle maker. Coffee maker wasn’t working. No water provided for breakfast. One serving of coffee in room and this was not replaced. No posted housekeeping info. No one at the desk during breakfast to ask about coffee. Staff at desk did not even make eye contact or speak when we checked out. “ Picnic area” = two uncovered picnic tables. Guest laundry was filthy. Some people here seem to be trying hard to make this place work. Others do not seem to have been trained. Other options are nearby and far better.

I have stayed at this hotel before, always on the second floor. And I have always enjoyed my stay there. This time we stayed on the first floor. The room not as large. Also, there was more noise on the first floor. We could easily hear foot traffic above us. We could also easily hear when other units used their showers and toilets.

The was great. The shower was good. And the breakfast was perfect. I didn’t need fancy. Just clean and good. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely come back

The breakfast was great, a lot to choose from & all was fresh. The coffee was fresh & hot. The front desk staff & breakfast staff were very friendly & efficient. Our room was clean, the buildings could use a little maintenance & updating. Otherwise our stay was good & comfortable.

We had a very good experience. There were some issues with the account due to staffing. It was Fourth of July and the Number employees didn’t show. Maybe understandable but we had a good night.

We got a room on “first floor” turned out to be in basement. Stairs were covered with dirty carpet with trash visible. Room was musky and linen torn. Horrible experience, but we just needed a place for shuteye and it was late. We couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.

Great stay ! Staff was very friendly

The front desk fella was very nice and helpful when we checked in. There was no one around at breakfast. Had to go into the kitchen to find someone to buy an Mt Dew. The hotel room floor was damp the entire stay. The AC was cooling but everything was damp. That level smelled musty in the hallway. Breakfast was ok, average. Would not recommend.

Clean room

The room was clean and comfortable. Loved being able to have fresh air in the room. Location of the motel was rather secluded and quiet. Great sleeping. Breakfast selections were numerous. Hot potato crowns and French toast were delicious. Even soy milk. Staff worked hard to accommodate a rush of families eating breakfast. Conference building needs some maintenance.

Very friendly front desk service. Very clean rooms. Great proximity to the main highway.

Gets the job done. Decent value if you’re in the area. No problems.

Room was clean and convenient to everything. Has a good variety of food to their Continental breakfast.
