American Inn and Suites Dundee

1 of the tvs didn’t work both remotes didn’t work moldy food under beds mold or something by sink broken switch broken plugs on table outlet disgustingly stained chair and bench. Wish I would’ve asked for my money back and just left honestly. Staff was great but room made me want to never come back. Honestly probably won’t.

The room and bathroom were clean. Carpets are dated. There was an odd smell in the hallway.

Absolutely nothing I had to literally wake the guy up at the front desk. The odor of Marijuana was unbearable....in the entire hallway/hotel room. The room was FILTHY. I sat in the room for maybe 30 min max before feeling so unclean and unsafe that I decided I would just leave. Again....the guy at the front desk was not just asleep, PASSED OUT ON THE DESK. Didn't wake up for me to turn my key in and ask for a refund.

TV didn't work. There was a horrible smell throughout the building. The frame around the bathroom door was broken and hanging off the hinge.

We had to immediately switch rooms. The first one smelled like pot. The second one at least didn't smell like pot but wasn't that great either. We had so many different smells going on as we passed each room and not in a good way. The room was very outdated and dirty. I would not stay here again. I would have left immediately and tried to find a better place but I had already paid for the night.

Nice place to stay, clean room, quiet, okay breakfast.

No ice machine. Ice machine was not working. There is only one ice machine on this property

breakfast was almost non existent, there was dirt under the tv and a pile of noodle dinners under the cabinet that was very dirty. eggs and hot food for breakfast

It was nice having the extra space but there was empty pill bottles in one of the drawers, there is no room service, and someone obviously had spilled hair dye all over the floor and walls. The sink wouldn’t stay open to drain water. And the pool my kids were looking forward to wasn’t opened like it stated it would be. However; that might have been for the best and we ended up going to Lake Erie.

Atmosphere was uncomfortable. It appeared that several people lived in the rooms. The Staff was "hanging out" with them and you'd have to interrupt they party to get served.

No ice machine. No elevator, Although the clerk asked her "babe" to carry up my suitcase. Whole place is Dirty & old. My room: Needs so many updates. Carpet old & smelly. Bathroom was so run down. Jet tub/shower was rusty, & in ill repair, I just couldn't bring myself to get in to shower. The air-conditioning fan clicked all the time. Chair was so saggy in the middle I dropped down when I sat in it.

They cancelled our rooms due to some water leak We were to stay Saturday night called us Friday afternoon to tell us our rooms were not available due to a water leak. No offer to help find something else.

Good location comfortable bed. Hot water Nothing crawling around No ice available minimal breakfast. Not enough towels

The pool Breakfast was very disappointing, room interior outdated

Room was large, had an adjoining door to the next room, but we didn't have anyone in that room. Coffee was good. Continental breakfast. If you try to check in before 3 p.m. you will be charged extra. I didn't see that on their website. Hotel needs sprucing up. It's dated. Outside area needs some love, but overall, we slept well.

For breakfast not enough food guests take several items back to rooms then nothing left for others help doesn't keep it up. So needed to go to restrant

My family and I stayed for 4 days. As I opened the door to the room, we saw the draperies hanging off the wall and the window uncovered. We had to climb on something just to cover the window for the night. I asked for maintenance to repair it the next morning. However it was still a very poor job. 5-6 ft Drapes were hung with only about 6 hooks. There were crumbs in the desk drawer. Water stains all over the night stand and headboard. There was a large round burn on the carpet. The room did have a microwave and mini refrigerator. The coffee pot was plugged into an outlet that didn't work, so I had to move it into the bathroom. There were 3 lamps in the room, only 2 were plugged in due to shortage of electrical outlets. 1 Electrical outlet didn't have a cover at all, another one was loose and hanging from the wall. The ice machine was out of order. The continental breakfast was bagged cereal. The basket of packaged pasties only had a couple items or empty every morning. There was a gallon of milk and orange juice in the mini-fridge available, and a coffee dispenser. The wood plank flooring at the front desk was peeling so badly that I tripped. The grass had not been cut, nor the bushes trimmed. The hotel needs alot of work and a manager who can get the job done.
