It’s close enough to Albany centre and close enough to a wide variety of restaurants and supermarkets.

Free daily breakfast options was great.

Really great breakfast. Didn’t stay long enough to use the pool. Gym was a little light on equipment but again didn’t stay long enough to use. I recommend you don’t stay across from the ice machine. I don’t know who kept getting ice all night long but we heard it all. I would request a room further away in the future.

The property was very well maintained, clean, and the included buffet breakfast was quite good.

Loud AC and basic cleanliness. It could have used a deep scrub in the corners. Breakfast was so-so.

The gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. After that, the staff were not. The room was mostly clean - mold in shower, corners full of filth, and the carpet smelled like it had been urinated on in two spots. The next morning, for breakfast, the staff did not keep the food and supplies up so there were not napkins, both coffees containers were empty, and there were not eggs in the scrambled egg container. There weren't that many guests so it was surprising.

Wasn’t a fan of bathroom facilities.. don’t like sink being in living space

One of the 2 rooms we reserved had a damp unclean smell. Breakfast was decent, coffee was terrible. In room coffee brewer and packet was much better.

I had a really positive experience at Fairfield Inn Albany. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. One of my favorite perks, especially since I travel almost weekly to the states, was the free washer and dryer—it makes being clean so much easier. The cardio machines in the fitness center were also good and made it easy to keep up with my workouts while traveling. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and traveler-friendly stay. I’d definitely stay here again!

The air contioner had a funky moldy smell. The bathroom was very small.
